I wish these would come in bigger boxes with much more inside. My family is mostly vegetarian so these are used a lot in my household for breakfast. The taste and texture of these are good and they have a good amount of protein. Big down side is how little you get for the price you pay.

It left a taste that reminds of bar soap. The texture is squishy like firm tofu which is not an issue but combined with the taste, the combination was not appetizing.
They just don't taste good, and aren't vegan

Unlike morningstar's other products, this one is not vegan. The packaging does not make this clear at all. By this definition, any sausage with filler is probably "plant-based". Simply making it clear on the front of the packaging that these are lacto-ovo-vegetarian would go a long way. Also. Objectively. These really don't taste good. Morning start has some nice products, but this one is really a miss all around.

Changed RECIPE! Now they are too salty and have a weird after taste. They used to be great and now I dislike the flavor of these and actively looking for a substitute. Not to mention the price is ridiculous!

These have always been my favorite morning star farms product. My grandfather used to make these for me when I was a kid, along with grillers, the bacon product, and the scramblers. Not sure if I at the sausage patties when I was younger or older. Either way I've been eating the breakfast products for 40+ years. The only thing that still tastes great is the links, please don't change them. The grillers have been horrible for a quite a few years, and now in the last 3 or so years the patties changed, and are inedible. I don't care if they are vegan or not, I care if they taste good. To be fair though, the grillers were always the favorite for friends I had try morningstar, never had even 1 person not like the taste, this was in the 90s though.

I love your products but it really shocked me reading that the plant-based sausage links had egg whites. As a vegan, this is essentially misleading. Some people will say it is not misleading because it doesn't say it's 100% plant based. But because traditional cruelty-derived sausages are animal-based, innovative products like yours going plant-based leads to think there are not animals involved. If you couldn't transition a few items after a huge PETA promotional push, that's unfortunate but don't put plant-based upfront. Put vegetarian! When many of your other products are vegan and they say plant-based on the front, this one is misleading.

I was very excited to see these labeled as "plant based", because I used to love eating them a few years ago and had to stop when I could no longer eat dairy products. I assumed that this product labeled as PLANT BASED would, y'know, not contain animal products, so I thought the recipe must've been updated to remove milk. What an unpleasant surprise when I checked the ingredients at home and found they still contained milk and eggs! I've got no issue with Morningstar making products that are vegetarian but not vegan, but it boggles my mind that they are marketing products that contain animal products as plant based. Do words not have meanings anymore? Does "plant based" now include any food product that includes at least some plant-derived ingredients? Is a Big Mac "plant based"? I will no longer be purchasing Morningstar products due to their deceptive marketing practices.

Taste and texture are not great. The taste is not strong, thank the gods, but I did toss them. Their maple sausage patties are far superior. Do not buy these ones though.

Being a meat eater as well as oher foods;Med diet these sasauage are awesome for being mostly plant based and for a processed food. Morningstar products are the best in their food stuff catagory. Poor Lil vegans don't know what they are missing. Hens eggs, cows milk.

I like morningstar products but you definitely have to state more clearly on the packaging that the product has egg for something that is labeled plant based. One of the benefits of buying plant-based products is not having to worry about labeling as much so this is dissapointing.

Tastes absolutely horrible! I understand that they are veggie based, but they don’t taste anything like meat or sausage at all. Not good flavoring or texture. Tastes like dirt. I had to spit it out. If you think this tastes anything close to meat, you’re crazy!

I've been enjoying these for years. Contrary to the reviews, it doesn't claim to be vegan, just vegetarian (like me). I also don't see the milk in the posted ingredient list. If a bit of egg white is needed to make these a good substitute for pork then I'm all for it.
