The scrapers are lightweight metal and are easy to use. My dentist recommended using one to get rid of excess bacteria and build up after brushing my teeth. I like this set because there is an extra scraper for my husband. These are really simple to use. Just place on the tongue and pull the scraper forward applying slight pressure.
