It's thinner than anticipated, more like a light windbreaker jacket or thin poncho which doesn't seem durable long term (feels easy to rip). The stitching is basic and not reinforced. With the black being on the outside and silver inside, the furniture is quite warm upon uncovering (it may be reversible but the stitching suggests not). Otherwise, so far it is waterproof although you will need to use or make something to tent the middle so it doesn't pool too much.

This cover is definitely not wind proof. It is lightweight and won’t hold up to the wind. It is waterproof. I will give this to someone who needs a light cover that isn’t outside in a windy area.
