MPM-14 Bonecrusher | Transformers Masterpiece Movie Series Action figures

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have twin ten-year-old sons, and they had heard something about the Masterpiece Movie Series Transformers sets. They were both super excited to try this out when they got it. It was really fun, and has been turning out pretty cool, but I would definitely say that it’s more for older kids/adults than 8 year olds. It’s a bit complicated, even when following the instructions.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My little one absolutely loves his bone crusher toy. He can play with it for hours without getting bored and the toy itself is very high quality. It’s held up to a couple decent falls and still looks good as new!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great figurine/ gift for someone who enjoys collectibles. The details of the figurine, and the ability to transform Bonecrusher from vehicle to figurine is better appreciated by someone older. Reason being is that in order to transform the figurine, it takes more than 80 intricate steps. Note that this is from the perspective of someone who personally does not collect figurines nor do my children have the patience to take many steps to transform. However I do believe this will be a great addition for those who already collect transformer figurines and enjoy staging these.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were impressed by the quality of this toy. It’s heavy and very well made. My boys were so excited to see & play with it. The only problem, and kind of a big one, was that the steps to transform it were astronomical. Like 50+ steps.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son’s exact words were “Very hard but great toy. Maybe not for 8 year olds”. He’s 11. At first sight, he was extremely excited to receive this toy. After opening it and realizing what he needed to do, things took a turn. He became frustrated with the instructions, stating that they were hard to understand. You have to follow the picture by picture instructions that don’t include very many words. It requires great attention to detail and patience. As you can see in the photos, he’s changed clothes a couple times. Why? It took days to complete. He’d take breaks to clear his head and give it another go. In the end, he finished it and he was extremely proud of himself. I wanted to see if he could do it on his own, which he did. I gave him a little guidance in the beginning on where to start with the instructions and dismantling the truck that it came as. Yes, it comes out of the box as a truck. It’s the kiddos’ job to TRANSFORM it. As a parent, I really loved that we got selected to try this toy. I love challenging my kid to see how far he can push his brain. I love toys that are educational and uncommon. This toy requires a lot of patience and a great deal of brainpower. It’s so worth the cost. Now he has a pretty amazing transformer to display in his room or to add to his stop motion videos. I’m sure many kids will enjoy it once it’s on the market. The accessories are a nice touch to the finished product and I like that there are a few different options for how the finished product looks. It has great detail and would make a great collectible for any Transformers fan. This product says it’s recommended for ages 8+ I don’t agree with that. There are a lot of instructions and I can see it becoming very confusing. I would personally recommend 12 and up. It is a great product though.

I don’t have boys but my 8 1/2 year old daughter loves Legos so I thought she would enjoy this. Lots of little pieces and kept her entertained for quite some time! Would definitely recommend for boys!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received Hasbros Movie Masterpiece Transformers bone crusher as a gift for my honest opinion. My nephew thought this was the coolest thing since sliced bread! Especially since it is one of the first few to be released . Item is made out of a durable material in the shape of a transformer that can be used as a collectors item or taken it out of the box to transform it into the bone crusher truck. I would definitely say 8+ is a perfect age to figure this out. Price seems to be a little steep , but if your a diehard fan it’s worth every penny. My nephew needed help constructing since he is 5.

He definitely needs help from my husband to transform it but it has been great quality time for them. I will say this is incredibly detail oriented and well made. But I felt guilty opening it to review it as it feels like one of those things that would be a collectors item at some point! Overall our family loved this and had so much fun working to transform it!

It turned into this big transformer but my only dislike about it is all the instructions to get it back into a car. Honestly we will probably never get it back to its original form. There is like 60 instructions and I don’t really have the time or the patience to even try.

My son had a smile from ear to ear as soon as he opened the package & realized it was a new Transformers toy. He couldn’t wait to open the box & start transforming. Starting, there was a glitch in the influenster app which caused a product confusion and i would not have chosen to receive a transformer, as there no one in my home that engages in that fandom. And so, I am choosing to review based on unopened box that can be donated to a program for kids where it will be used. I wish the shipping had protected the box better, because if this was your fandom and you collected, it was damaged decently in transit. Not enough to injure the items within but enough to lower the value for collectors. I am reviewing the Transformers Masterpiece movie series MPM-12 Bonecrusher Decepticon by Hasbro and the Takara Tomy co. This is rated 8+ yrs due to some very small parts . It is incredibly detailed and appears it does transform; with some fine pieces I could see being easily broken in rough play. I wouldnt recommend it so much as a toy, but a collectable or for a fan who will take care of items that they hold in value. The box limited in extra graphics or high impact colors. Perhaps to allow focus on the image of the item which has a lot of depth and fine parts.
