Muck Men's Chore Classic Rubber Work Boots,CHH000A, Black

I’ve had a pair of Muck Chore tall boots for just about a year. I work in the septic industry, portapotties specifically. The boots were great at first…. After about 2 months, the insoles came unglued. They would constantly disorient themselves in the boot, causing quite a discomfort. Additionally, the boots are now torn where the fabric meets the rubber. Needless to say, these boots should not be used as ‘work boots’. Maybe a good fit for jumping in puddles…..

The ones that I bought in 2023 are still good. I am buying a backup pair just in case. It is a very comfortable boot and keeps my feet dry and warm. I'm rating the 2023 in that I haven't received the 2025 boot yet.

Why am i getting this now, when i purchased these over a year ago? Makes me worried there is fraud! Please advise,

The very first time I wore my new muck boots they somehow trapped moisture between the layers of the sole. Now every single step I take makes a squeaking noise. Tried drying the boots on a boot dryer, but squeaking noise while walking g is still present. This makes me concerned about the construction of the boots and overall durability. If there is a hole somewhere for moisture to enter the layers in the sole, it’s only a matter of time before the waterproofing becomes compromised. Then they will be tossed into the trash and I will be going with a different brand of waterproof boots.

These seem like good boots but I had to return them due to poor fit quality. These were very narrow in the toe and very wide in the heel. The boot slipped terribly on my heel.

I just picked up my third pair since February 24 the other 2 pairs leaked on the same foot so the boot store special ordered me a new pair so we will see .

Worked in a forest with a lot of rivers to cross. NOT water proof. The neoprene soaks up water and took ages to dry. The neoprene also tore very quickly. Last but not least they are very heavy and not good for walking. Hated these boots and had to wear them for 6 months due to being in a remote environment.

I love these boots and going to buy them again. However, after a year the left sole delaminated from the boot.

These boots have a great reputation and I was excited to get a pair. The fit was great and I found them very comfortable. However, the first time I wore them in a couple inches of water they leaked. That is a lot of money to spend on waterproof boot that turn out to not be waterproof. I know people who rave about the brand and I may try a different style, but I have to admit my first experience left me wary.

I bought these boots last Fall and they didn't even make it through the winter... both boots come apart at the seams on the rubber... and both split where the fabric meets the rubber...boots this expensive should last more than 6 months.

Bought these about a month ago from the cabela’s in reno bay and unfortunately my feet get soaked every time i wear them through any kinda puddles or wet areas. cant return them since i was only passing through the reno area. Pretty bummed. My last pair of mucks lasted about 7 years. These maybe 3 weeks.

Just got these and like everything about them except they’re only waterproof until you go into water. In puddles at about the little toe depth, the boot leaks like a sieve. Super disappointed. Really wanted to love these boots. I guess if they stay inside and your house isn’t flooded then you’ll be fine….Also, have video of air bubbles coming out of the lower near the little toe.

Had a pair that lasted 2 winters in a ranch environment and took a good beating. Just bought a replacement pair yesterday and my socks were already soaked. Very disappointing. Quality has gone downhill.

I wish they would last longer, They hardly last my husband a year without getting a hole in them.

I’ve had a pair for 12 years now and wear them quite a bit. No signs of wear from wearing them at work and wearing them hunting.

I love the muck boot concept -- easy to slip on, water and mud resistant, comfortable. BUT they have a fatal flaw IMHO -- the inner lining doesn't last long and it wears out in the heel (see photos). Once that happens, your heel rubs up against the hard rubber which can cause heel blisters with extended wear and ruins good pairs of merino wool socks. If you are lucky enough to notice this before the 1-year warranty is up -- send them back and get a replacement. For me and my family, we weren't so lucky. We have 3-4 pairs with this problem that are outside warranty. When I wrote muck support they wouldn't say if this was a fixed problem, so I can only conclude it isn't. For that reason, I'll need to look elsewhere. The boots are just too expensive to wear out that fast...

I bought my first pair of Muck boots in May. Wore them a few times picking Raspberries in June. Sole on right boot started to delaminate in July. Now I am shopping for another brand of boots in August. I expect a pair of $140 boots to last longer than a couple of months.

I bought these boots 3 months ago and the whole inside is wore out. They are cheap made. And a waste of money. They hurt my feet so bad now. These are junk.

Seems are starting to open up leaking water. Was told this was a great product. Five months where five days a week and they’re coming apart my first and last pair

I’ve had these boots for about 3-4 months I’m a plumber so I wanted something to keep the liquids I step in on a daily basis off my sock/foot I was impressed for about a month which is when the boot started to let water in and my feet would eventually be soaked by mid work day. Then about a month later I realized there was a tear where the outsole meets the toe box and after that they have just gotten worse. Not to mention they aren’t the comfiest boots. They worked well for a month but after that nothing good has come out of them
