submitted byChristopher Knight Home - 4 years agoBrand expertA: The Naja End Table pictured here is an egg-shaped table, such as a triangle with rounded edges. The shape of the Evie End Table is round. I purchased a similar product by Christopher Knight Home, the Jazzman High Mid-Century Coffee Table, last year. It is a beautiful and heavy piece of furniture, of great quality.

Q: it says that there is a prop 65 warning, but that none of the harmful chemicals are present in the product. if that is the case, then there shouldn't be a label on the product?
A: Good morning. Thank you for your inquiry! I hope all is well. I believe you refer to labels that are stuck to our furniture. Prop 65 is a California Law which requires a warning if one of 900 substances are included in the product, at very low levels. These chemicals have to reach a certain threshold to cause any measurable effects, generally 1000x greater than the level which requires a warning. The warning does not mean the product is dangerous or likely to cause cancer or birth defects. We elected to provide Prop 65 warnings on a large amount of products to ensure compliance. A Prop 65 warning does not mean that a product is in violation of any product-safety standards or requirements. Prop 65 is a "right to know" law which aids customers in making informed decisions. Prop 65 warnings can be found everywhere - from snacks, to vinegar, to jewelry, coffee, dishes, and electrical wires. For example, Prop 65 requires a warning for .5 micrograms/liter of lead per day - that's less than what you would find in the average serving size of balsamic vinegar. I hope my answer is of help, as always feel free to let me know if you have any questions or concerns! Have a lovely weekend!
