Nars Light Reflecting Advanced Skincare Foundation Medium-Deep 4 Macao, 1 Ounce

I was new to Nars & after my granddaughter who is an esthetician owning her own salon recommended NARS as one of the better cosmetics I decided to try. After buying Light Reflecting foundation in color Santa Fe, and using for 6 months, I can truly say without a doubt this foundation is an absolute holy grail to all I've tried. I can't even feel it on my skin even at the end of the day. Not heavy, doesn't lay on top of skin like a mask, doesn't settle into fine facial lines, not sticky or cakey. Loved it so much I've added NARS blushes, lipsticks to my makeup bag. I just ordered (from Ulta Beauty) the NARS longwear foundation and hoping for same results which…. I'm sure it will be. NARS cosmetics are one of the top best cosmetics in my opinion and trust me! At my age at 71 I've tried them all.

I've already got a container of this that I use all the time. It is smooth, covers well, though it's fairly light coverage, goes on extremely well with a good foundation brush, hydrates my skin, and sticks to my hydro grip primer. I'd be game to try the NARS primer, too, once I'm out. I just happened to get a wild hair and thought, what if I'm using the wrong color for my undertone?! And I bought something way too dark for my translucent skin. Not their fault!

My new favorite. My go-to for medium coverage. Love this formula.

I had been wearing the shade Namibia for several years, it was a great match for my skin tone but with new new shade releases I decided to try Timaru...WOW!! It's a perfect match, undetectable and flawless. My dry, sensitive skin already adores the moisturizing, non-irritating formula, so this new, perfect shade is just a 6th star!!!

Very nice lightweight even for dry skin

Horrible foundation! No coverage , and it's the very first foundation I've used that's crumbling, spalling and flaking no matter what applying method I've tried. I even purchased nars own primer to try to save it, doesn't work! Frustrated

I'm 44 and have tried so many foundations high end and drug store and this is it this is my foundation it's so beautiful on the skin blends perfectly

I bought this because it was recommended for "mature skin" as foundations often cake into lines, enhancing them. Unfortunately the reason this doesn't do that seems to be because it barely provides any coverage. I have some redness in my face and it doesn't help hide it.
