Q: What's the experation date for this sausages?

Kosher and no worries on health
I've always boiled these to remove preseatives, rince and throw on grill to brown. Cut into sections on a veggie onion kabob with mustard. You can do this quick.

Sorbitol! PASS
Sorbitol?! Why oh why does there have to be sorbitol in a hot dog?
1 reply from Smithfield Team team - 2 months ago
Thank you for taking the time to share your input on our Nathan's Beef Franks' ingredients. Sorbitol is a sugar alcohol found naturally in many fruits and vegetables, as well as in certain processed foods. I will pass along your comments to our Food Development Team. Thank you and feel free to call us toll free at 855-411-7675. We do value your input as we strive to offer safe and enjoyable food products.

No longer gluten free
I asked my husband to pick up Nathan's because they have been labeled gluten free for so long and they have been the only hotdogs I would eat. Much to my dismay they are no longer labeled gluten free so they are just setting in my refrigerator, waiting for me to give them to someone else. I do not have a choice but to eat gluten free. very disappointed in the current product/packaging.

Allergy
I always purchased Nathan’s hot dogs because they were gluten free. I recently went to the grocery store for Nathan’s hot dogs and found out they are no longer gluten free. Not labeled “gluten free.” I was shocked. It’s hard to believe that Nathan’s dogs contain gluten.

I purchased Nathan’s hot dogs all the time because they were gluten free. I just went to the grocery store and found out that they are no longer gluten free. I was very surprised that they are adding gluten in their hot dogs.

Too much vinegar and garlic and some bones pieces
I have been eating this dog almost every day for over two years. But the quality has been very poor lately. There is so much garlic and vinegar in them that I had to throw away the rest of the 5 pack. This is also the third time in the last few months that I have found bone pieces. The number of the pack is Jun 17, 2025 11:04 EST 296L8. I don't want to go back to Hebrew National, but at this point, i may have to. Very disappointed.

Great dog, skimped on the package
While I understand Nathan's kept their jumbo hotdogs the same size as 20 years ago, at some point they reduced the package size from 8 dogs to 5. I've never found a five pack of hot dog buns in the store, nor do I entertain family and friends in odd numbers. I know you did the shrink to keep your price lower, but we Americans are fed up with shrinkflation. Now with more tariffs, it's time to give us the value for the money. Give us the 8 pack of dogs again.

Simply fantastic
We get these at my workplace in Canada since they're only available through foodservice here, Nathan's dogs can't be found in supermarkets here in Toronto (PLEASE TRY TO FIX THIS). Simply the best hot dog I have ever eaten. The flavour and texture are always superb, and the jumbo size is the perfect size for a real hot dog lover. I've had them with just mustard, to a complete chili-cheese dog style with every fixin' I can think of, and they always stand out. Outstanding stuff. Please keep it up the quality, when so many companies are messing with tried and true recipes.P.S. And please try to fix that whole "not available in Canadian supermarkets thing". Just a request, I know there are limitations one imports/exports between our great countries ;)

KINDLY REDUCE THE AMOUNY OF SALT
My first bite into the hotdogs was too salty for my taste. Many won't complain about this but would just find something less salty. Other than the saltiness I believe I would enjoy this hotdogs anytime.Thank you for considering reducing the saltiness.

Its just not the same any more
I got a package of Nathan's Famous Hotdogs Jumbo Restaurant Style Beef Franks and ... they're not the same. They lost flavor, the mouth feel is way off, and the only way to describe it is... .it used to be a great Beef Frank, now its just a very bland watery chicken baloney sausage thing. Sure its hotdog shaped but, once you bite into it, its mushy and flavorless.

No Just no.
If you care at all about your health you would start paying attention to the ingredients list. Which unfortunately I didn’t and now I’m dealing with some major food sensitivities.I can’t eat grains therefore I eat the hotdog by itself and still somehow ended up with an upset stomach and heavy mucus cough. Well these hot dogs say 100% beef and no fillers but they contain hydrolyzed corn protein. I would consider that a filler. Corn is not only toxin to every human on this planet but I’m extra sensitive. To add to the corn assault, they use Sorbitol which derives from corn and isn’t much better than Corn syrup which they claim isn’t in their hot dogs.Didn’t think I’d need to protect myself from a dumb hot dog but here I am, wishing I would have read the darned ingredients.

Disappointed inshaoe of 7 hot dogs to a pound
We normally purchased Hebrew national hot dogs for july 4 picnic. They were unavailable so we purchased Nathan’s 7 hot dogs to a pound. The hog dog is longer and fits beyond the regular bun. We want the meat inside the bun. We are very disappointed in the meat volume within the bun to enjoy with the condiments. Please make the shape of hot dog to be in the bun. Very disappointed. And so our family will be too.

Great Flavor
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these a month ago and I think they taste great . There not to big or small and fit in the bun perfectly. I also likes them because there are easy to bite and chew and have great flavor all around
