[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] it’s pretty nice! decently thick, which is great for dry skin like mine, but not greasy at all. i usually find lotion to leave my hands greasy and gross, but that’s not the case with this. i will say, it’s not exactly pepperminty like a candy cane, but more like actual essential oil sort of peppermint. so if you’re wanting sweet and candy cane scented, this isn’t it. but if you’re looking for more of an essential oil peppermint scent, this is it.

The lotion feels great going on and absorbs well without feeling greasy. I don’t feel like the moisture lasts very long though. The pump feature makes it super easy to apply.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Native is a decent lotion company, I have used one of their main scent choices before and it was pretty good so I was excited to have a seasonal smell because I thought it would be strong. I don't know if it's just the one that I have but it is incredibly light scented to the point it's not there. As a lotion it's still good and goes on nice without leaving you oily like some of the other companies.

The lotion itself was horrible, at least on my skin. Instead of absorbing into my skin, it started to exfoliate my skin while I was rubbing it in, to where you could visibly see dead skin. This may have something to do with the natural ingredients used in it, but I’m not a scientist so that’s just a guess on my end.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Start g with the scent because I feel like that’s the biggest draw: I feel like they missed the mark. Not quite candy cane. It’s like a weird artificial minty scent. Luckily it’s not strong and wears down quickly (basically as soon as the lotion dries) because it smells funny. I also wasn’t crazy about the hydration. It dries down fast which is nice because it doesn’t stain your clothes but it feels like regular skin almost as soon as you rub it in. I gave dry skin so I was lotioning multiple times a day when testing this out. Will use it up and pair with my Nivea lotion so it doesn’t go to waste but will not be trying Native lotion again.
