Native Ocean Timber Moisturizing Shampoo - 16.5 fl oz

I'm glad I purchased this shampoo. It's scent is clean and invigorating. Great value for the price.

This item was a horrible purchase I had been using native for 4 months. I had bought a new bottle and once I used it my hair started to fall out in strands more than usual. I used a different shampoo and conditioner and my hair started to not fall out in strands anymore in the shower. I now have bald spots on the sides of my forehead. I hope this message keeps you aware from this purchase.

Left my hair feeling greasy and gross

I started using this shampoo maybe a month ago? It seemed fine after a few uses but then suddenly my hair very recently started becoming weird after using this. Idk what happened but it's been leaving white stuff in my hair like tiny white dots and flakes? And in the back of my hair in the middle it feels like my hair was still wet even tho the rest was dry so weird. I wouldn't recommend this shampoo. My old shampoo would never leave my hair like this I'm gonna have to stop using this one which sucks cos I don't even have my old shampoo anymore so I'm gonna have to buy it again. Waste of money and I almost forgot, this shampoo also made so much of my hair fall out it's actually scary. Do not recommend this don't buy it please it'll ruin your hair. I'm really upset

Do not buy this product. After about a month of use, my hair started to get crunchy, almost like doll hair. I couldn’t curl it because it would get stuck in the iron. My stylist said it was due to oil buildup from my Native products. I ended up having to do clarifying treatments and cut off my ends to clean it up. Not worth the hype!

I swear my hair started falling out after using this shampoo. The smell is really good but that's it. That's all this brand really has going for it is their scents. My hair didn't feel as clean as it should have and I started losing more than I normally do. I feel duped after seeing the commercials about how natural it is...

Dried my scalp and made it super itchy. I don’t have any allergies so this was very weird.

The shampoo smells really nice but it doesn’t leave my hair feeling clean. My hair can be very oily, so I need a shampoo that will clean my hair thoroughly, and this shampoo doesn’t deliver. I do not recommend if you have oily hair, my hair looked clean for maybe 12 hours after showering that day. After not washing my hair for ONE day, my hair looks like I haven’t showered for 3. Terrible product.

Do not buy this it will make your hair fall out. There has been plenty reports and there’s a lawsuit against them. I’m telling you do not buy this

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My hair is very fine and thin. This shampoo made my hair feel so soft and clean. I used this on vivid color treated hair, as well as natural color treated hair. The packaging is nice. The box style makes it easy to fit on the shower shelf.

They’re definitely more on the masculine side in my opinion, but I’ve been using men deodorant for years so I don’t care about the shampoo scent! Lol! I will def be getting these again.

Love the thin bottle design, compared to my typical shampoo bottle it definitely takes up less place then my normal one.

He loves how this smells and how just a little goes a long way. It’s perfect for everyday use and makes it easy for him to use in the shower.

I have thick hair so often times I feel like I need to take a lot of shampoo to even distribute and lather but I didn’t have too with this shampoo. Absolutely love the back of these bottles. They break the ingredients down one by one and give easy to understand explanations for each ingredient. I don’t feel like my hair was hydrated as well as other brands I’ve used so that is why I went with 4 stars. I will try other variants of this product though solely due to the ingredient breakdown on the back

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a bit skeptical of this product at first when I saw the phrase ‘moisturizing shampoo’. Having curly hair, I’ve tested many products that have claimed to have moisturizing properties but felt no different to the standard shampoos on the market. I will preface this review by saying I’ve only used this product about three times since receiving it as I don’t wash my hair extremely often. As a result, my thoughts are more like first impressions and may change as I get the chance to use it more. When I was my hair, I double cleanse which is very stripping and makes my hair feel fairly dry and creates tangles. Using this product, I still experienced the tangling but my hair was not dry at all. It almost felt as if I used conditioner on my scalp. Because of that, I really liked this product because it did what the packaging stated it would. As for the scent, it’s definitely more masculine (I personally didn’t mind it) so keep that in mind if you care about the masculinity/femininity of scents you use. I know others have had issues with Native Haircare so please take this with a grain of salt and look at other reviews before deciding. Considering I’ve only used this product a few times, my review may not be reflecting the whole side of the story.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice smell that isn’t too much! It’s a good shampoo that I think would be suited for fine/medium straight hair. Did not do much for my frizz or curls. Would be a good choice for someone who needs to wash their hair every day as it is not stripping.

Wanted to like this scent, it even smells ok when you smell it in the bottle but once you wash with it, it’s just a strong musky moth ball smell. We do however like the quality. Will just be trying another scent next time.

I feel like this shampoo cleans my hair fairly well but doesn’t dry my hair out. I’m not sure how I feel about the scent, I don’t love it but I don’t hate it.
