Natural Chindi Placemats (Set Of 6) - Design Imports: Cotton, Machine Washable, Rectangular Table Mats for All Ages

I've had these mats for ~15 months now & they are my everyday/every meal placemats. We are two adults with no kids & although we're careful, we do spill on these at times. I gently use stain remover on them & wash them on gentle/semiwarm cycle every 4ish months & then hang them to dry. They do show some wear & tear along the way but nothing major - they're still beautiful over a year later. These would not be a great for kids or really messy eaters but if you're careful, these are long lasting & stay very pretty.

These placemats are rather thick and bumpy, which makes it challenging for dishes and glasses to remain level while on them. After maybe the second time washing them, one of the placemats completely disintigrated.

described as natural, they're mostly white with beige warp and natural hemp-look edgings described as 13", are actually 15" described as 100% cotton, labeled "recycled fibers of indeterminate origin"...I'm pretty sure they're cotton or poly-cotton, they feel like heavy t-shirt material. I don't mind helping the environment but I don't want to pay for new and get recycled, you know? This kind of mislabeling is really very bad and why I'm marking them not recommended. It's not worth the hassle of returning, they're good enough for my purposes, but be aware that you may not get what you're expecting.

Returning immediately! Every placemat is a different size. Some are bigger by 1-2 inches on both length and width! One even came a different color and material. I’m questioning whether it may have been previously used and stained. Looks like they started to cheapen the material and I got one of the old style. Don’t waste your time on these.

I purchased these placemats because they were described at being 13x19 inches. I have a narrow table so this dimension was critical and most placemats are 14x20 in. When I opened the package I found they were 14.5x20 inches - much too large for what I needed. I’m very frustrated!

I love the light color that goes with any decor I want to put on the table to make it look great. I also like that they are washable so if someone spills at mealtime it's not a problem to put them in the wash. The design is also amazing and chic. Love these!!

These have been great and exactly what I had in mind to protect our dining table. They're thick, durable and although I haven't washed them yet, they should clean up easily. I actually bought 2 sets to have some spares.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These placemats are kind of thick so in my opinion they work best in an outdoor setting instead of a dining table. They do help with protecting the table from stains and are very easy to wash and get clean again but the thickness and unevenness of the woven material made it hard to sit a drink on the mat flat to prevent spills.

They are soft and surprisingly easy to clean. I love how it softens a table without overtaking the look so you can really let your tableware shine.

They are sized generously (about 13”x20”) and well constructed. They are made with a quality material and look handmade which is what I love the most. The color is beautiful and they look wonderful on my dining table. Beautiful set of placemats. I would definitely recommend.

Unfortunately, three of them came with thick black-ish lines down the weave, marring the color and looking like stains. If these stains were not there, these would be four-star.
