It's delicious, but the slices are so random. I've had slices with almost 2 inches of width, while others were 1/2-1 inch wide.
Weirdly moist out of the dry bag.

This bread was wet but the packaging was not. It has been stored inside, in a cool dry place, wasn’t expired. It was like banana bread or pumpkin bread-so moist it wasn’t really like bread, the slices weren’t holding its shape out of the bag. I took some out and while debarring using it put those slices in a zip lock bag, decided not to use it and went back to the bag later and there was condensation moisture on that bag. Weird. Whatever this is is probably why so many reviews are saying it molds before expiration.

I have put this bread for YEARS. For the last 2 months (8ish loaves)there have been giant holes in the middle of the bread. This renders it useless for school lunch sandwiches and is incredibly wasteful. Very disappointed. I’m now trying other whole wheat brands.
Moldy a$* bread

I’ve ate Natures own pretty much my whole life, for about the past 6 months this bread molds RIGHT AFTER I BUY IT! Doesn’t last but about 2-5 days before it molds. I don’t know what they are in that factory doing but this bread is horrible and costs too much, and to just throw away a whole loaf is ridiculous! I don’t like Wasting my money and this issue has been going on for months. I’ve changed the location of where I keep the bread thinking it’s a problem I can solve but no,it’s the bread and I’m done with this brand.

The last several loaves I have bought have had large air pockets where the bread was missing. It’s hard to make toast or a sandwich when there is no bread there!

EVERYTIME I buy this bread anymore it either already has mold somewhere on it, or it molds within 2-3 days. This used to be our favorite, but I'll never buy it again.
SMALL slices now.

Why are the slices much smaller now? Have been eating this bread for a LONG TIME. It is so small now that the best you can do with it is serve as an appetizer.
Good nutrition, crust too tough

The content (nutrition) of this bread is above average compared with most other bread. The taste is very good, however, the crust is very tough. If toasted, it is not a problem, but when eaten soft, even a good knife has trouble cutting through and biting it sometimes requires a little pull or rip to get through.

Guys you changed the size of the whole wheat bread to much smaller size, so my bologna slice is hanging over all sides, and there are less slices in package. So I’m just going to look for another brand until you fix your problem. Than No’s

The spread used to be under $2.50 a loaf. That was the right price for it given its quality.
Natures Own Whol Wheat Bread quality has taken a d

I have used this bread for years, and it has always been high quality in conformation and taste. However over the past several months the quality has taken a big hit with regards to the conformation of the loaf. Now, almost always the rise height if the bread is about 2/3 what it used to be, and the top of the loaf is mis-shapened. More over many times the top of the crust doesn't adhere to the slice, and there are large holes, an inch or more, in the slices indicating something is wrong with the process. If you don't fix it soon I'm going to another brand

I always buy this bread but the last loaf I bought has black seeds randomly scattered on the bottom of the bread. If I wanted bread with seeds I would buy bread with seeds. Now I'm hesitant to purchase this again.
