A: "Therapeutic Grade" is a marketing term. Any company can say their oils are therapeutic grade. There is no standard definition nor organization who "grades" or "certifies" essential oils as therapeutic grade, medicinal grade or aromatherapy grade in the U.S. You can always ask a company what they mean by that term, if they use it. What you are looking for is oil that is 100% pure, free from any additives, adulterants or dilutions. And no 'fragrance oil'.
A: HI Patti, Our Nature's Truth Lavender is PURE Essential Oil. Not to be used directly on skin but mixed with a base oil prior to use or in a diffuser. Lavender is widely used for its relaxing and comforting qualities, Lavender boasts a soothing floral scent that instills a sense of deep tranquility. Steam distilled from its flowers, giving you a pure plant based aromatic experience. We do not label our essential oils as Therapeutic Grade however our essentials oils/aromatherapy are plant based and GC/MS tested for quality guarantee.
A: In dogs, the most common essential oil toxicities are to Melaleuca or Tea Tree Oil, Pennyroyal, Oil of Wintergreen, and Pine Oils. Others include Anise, Cinnamon, Ylang Ylang... a quick google search will tell you others as well. Lavender seems OK for use around dogs but can be harmful to cats.
A: Hi Yvette! We wish we had a better answer for you but we suggest talking with your veterinarian. Thank you!
A: If it is "flammable" it is more than just EO in it. FDA labeling system says that an EO can be labeled "PURE" and only have to contain 5% "PURE" product in it (IF the company adheres to regulations)... not even necessarily the EO, it could be the floral water and still be labeled pure. In that case, ZERO action, but may smell nice?
A: These ones are cheaper. They're just as pure. They're not part of a multi-level marketing scheme, which may be a plus or minus depending on you.
A: Hello Karin, Enjoy the benefits of pure essential oils in a massage, your bath, or in a diffuser. For a massage, dilute at a recommended rate of 5 drops of essential oils to 10mL of Nature’s Truth® Unscented Base Oil. Please note, this is for external use only. Dilute in a base oil. Do not use directly on skin or apply to broken or irritated skin. Keep out of reach of children. Keep oils away from eyes. If skin sensitivity occurs, discontinue use. Discontinue use and consult your doctor if any adverse reactions occur.
