Q: Is this therapeutic grade?

submitted by - 3 years ago
  • A: "Therapeutic Grade" is a marketing term. Any company can say their oils are therapeutic grade. There is no standard definition nor organization who "grades" or "certifies" essential oils as therapeutic grade, medicinal grade or aromatherapy grade in the U.S. You can always ask a company what they mean by that term, if they use it. What you are looking for is oil that is 100% pure, free from any additives, adulterants or dilutions. And no 'fragrance oil'.

Q: Is this safe to use around dogs?

submitted by Yvette - 3 years ago
  • A: In dogs, the most common essential oil toxicities are to Melaleuca or Tea Tree Oil, Pennyroyal, Oil of Wintergreen, and Pine Oils. Others include Anise, Cinnamon, Ylang Ylang... a quick google search will tell you others as well. Lavender seems OK for use around dogs but can be harmful to cats.

Q: is anyone able to compare these to young living or doTerra??

submitted by Jenna - 6 years ago
  • A: If it is "flammable" it is more than just EO in it. FDA labeling system says that an EO can be labeled "PURE" and only have to contain 5% "PURE" product in it (IF the company adheres to regulations)... not even necessarily the EO, it could be the floral water and still be labeled pure. In that case, ZERO action, but may smell nice?

submitted byTrisha - 4 years ago
  • A: These ones are cheaper. They're just as pure. They're not part of a multi-level marketing scheme, which may be a plus or minus depending on you.

Q: can you use this oil on your face to reduce wrinkles?

submitted by Karin - 3 months ago
  • A: Hello Karin, Enjoy the benefits of pure essential oils in a massage, your bath, or in a diffuser. For a massage, dilute at a recommended rate of 5 drops of essential oils to 10mL of Nature’s Truth® Unscented Base Oil. Please note, this is for external use only. Dilute in a base oil. Do not use directly on skin or apply to broken or irritated skin. Keep out of reach of children. Keep oils away from eyes. If skin sensitivity occurs, discontinue use. Discontinue use and consult your doctor if any adverse reactions occur.

I like the smell of lavender. The smell is not too strong, but it's not weak either. It last for at least 2 hours in my bathroom, after spraying. I will definitely buy again. The price is affordable. The quality is more than I can ask for.
