Super dry
So I bought these (cinnamon almond butter) with the idea that they would be, as described on the box, creamy. However, after trying one, I found that it was actually quite dry. The flavor was good and it had some crunchy stuff in it, but the texture of the base mixture was crumbley and dry. I was a little disappointed since I was expecting a similar texture to the power bars I used to get as a kid.

I LOVED these Cinnamon Almond bars.... BEFORE they changed the recipe; now I cannot stand them. I had one bar every morning for years. Now I cannot stand the new recipe! Unfortunately, I have eaten my LAST one of these unless the old recipe returns. You had a GREAT product!! Why, oh why did you have to change it????

Creamy? More Like Crumbly.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The packaging is pretty standard—just like any other granola or protein bar. What threw me off was the “creamy” in the name. I expected something smooth or soft, but the bar was actually quite dry and made me feel like I needed a drink to get it down. To be fair, the bar seemed perfectly fresh—but when the texture is already this dry, it makes you wonder how much difference freshness even makes. Flavor-wise, it wasn’t terrible, but it also wasn’t very satisfying. For me, it’s not something I’d get again.

I am not usually a big big fan of protein bars but Natuee Valley did a pretty good job with these. The protein content is great, the sugar content is a little high but I am okay with that because the flavor is amazing. I am sure a lower sugar content would jeopardize the flsvor! They can be kindof messy and the new packaging is quote difficult to open bit other than that I really enjoyed these.
