Book Synopsis
Nelly is a very different bird. She cannot fly. So, when all the other birds fly off for winter, Nelly can't. Instead, she learns to do things differently. One day, she meets another bird, who's just discovered that he can't fly either. So, Nelly, who has learned a lot, teaches him how to be a different kind of bird too. And Nelly discovers that being different is a lot more enjoyable when there is two of you. This funny and heart-warming picture book explores how joy, wisdom and friendship can be found in learning to do things your own way.
