NERF Soa Super Soaker XP55

They sure don't make things like they used to... range is not great and sputters when half the bottle is depleted. I'd consider this a waste of money.

Bought 2 for my kids. Tested one, and it just blows out air and mist for a second now matter how many times you pump. Returning both to the store.

Doesn’t work. Don’t buy it. Son disappointed when he got this with his birthday money.

Nothing like the 90s version. I was excited to get these for my kids, since I had the original in the 90s. I remembered them being finicky but these new ones were God awful. You fill it up. Get two squirts if you are lucky. Tank is full of water and won't spray. Get a 90s employee on board please to make them what they were. I returned both of them. I was very disappointed.

It doesn’t work smoothly. It’s not easy for kids to use. Spray isn’t strong or steady.

absolute garbage product. water trickles about 5' with constant pumping and no pressure build up.

Does not work. We filled it and the water poured out of the handle. Couldn't get any pressure to use the trigger

Doesn't spray anything other than mist unless the bottle isn100% full. Won't hold pressure. Bought 2, neither one works.

You get more pressure from a drinking cup with a straw. Very upset. Will be returning this garbage.

Love the nostalgia but as usual not made the same as the 90s. No pressure. Shoots barely at all.

Just got back from my second return, saw another person in line returning a different model so I was in good company. FLIMSY, DOESN'T SEAL, AND DOESN'T SHOOT MORE THAN A SPUTTERY MIST. You can hear the air leaking, for the distance and amount of pumping you have to do, a standard dollar store squirt gun would be less disappointing. AVOID the new line of super soakers- neither NERF nor Super Soaker mean what they used to.

I bought 5 guns and only one worked. The others no matter how much you pumped, the water would not spray. Save your money.

The pumping mechanism allows the user to build up pressure before pulling the trigger to release a blast of water, but only allows a safe amount of pressure. Overall, the water gun is spectacularly fun, and is versatile for various water activities. It does come with one downside. The tank, while refillable, runs out quicker than water guns built with larger tanks, so a couple refills between water battles may be necessary for maximum performance. Due to the smaller size, however, the water gun has a reasonable price point while maintaining its high quality and durability.
