Q: Does the machine bought new come with sample pods ?
A: Mine came with a sample pack, someone else posted a photo in the reviews

Q: can you just get a cup of hot water?
A: Unfortunately, I don't believe so. I've also tried to push button without a pod, and it doesn't respond to this. BTW, the brew temps are not very hot, one of my chief complaints.
submitted bysweetamoshun - 3 years agoA: Thank you for your question. The VertuoPlus machines do not dispense only hot water for tea or other hot water usage. You must insert a coffee capsule for the machine to perform.

Q: Can you make americanos with this machine?
A: Thank you for your inquiry. Our Vertuo Plus machine, if bundled with an Aeroccino3 Milk Frother, can create a delightful Cappuccino or Lattes. The Vertuo Plus machine can brew espresso size beverages, however, it will not dispense that extra shot of water to dilute and create an Americano.
