Description

Nespresso introduces the VertuoPlus by De'Longhi, with an all-new design and colors for the ultimate brewing experience.   • A: Thank you for your question. The VertuoPlus machines do not dispense only hot water for tea or other hot water usage. You must insert a coffee capsule for the machine to perform.

  • A: Unfortunately, I don't believe so. I've also tried to push button without a pod, and it doesn't respond to this. BTW, the brew temps are not very hot, one of my chief complaints.

The Vertuo capsules have a barcode on the rim of each capsule, which uses Centrifusion to brew each capsule, and informs the machine how much water to brew through the assorted sizes of capsules offered. This has really upped our daily coffee game. We've tried many of the different pods and only havent been a fan of one out of about 30 different flavors. Make sure to rinse and descale!

Just shy of 6 years with our first Vertuo Plus and decided to put it to rest after it having a hard time performing the same. I looked at the other models and am seeing this model lasts and performs the longest. Happy to have a new one and hope it lasts as long. Great price too!

I purchased this machine 15 months ago. It’s used once per day. This morning it died. Nespresso offered me the 35% discount, but everything in their website is 30% off. Reading today, I see that many other individuals who purchased machines at the same time as me had this issue. Won’t purchase this machine again, but will co aider others.

Bought this model a few years ago. When it died about 4 months later they sent a new one under our warranty. Then the new one died about 11 months later. They were still willing to honor the warranty on that one. The person who helped us subtley suggested we get another model and they'd give it to us for the same price even though it was more expensive. So now we've had the upgraded model for well over a year and it is still going strong. I can't believe they are still selling this horrible model. It looks great and had good features. They just need to put different insides into the nice outside.

I bought this machine about 1 1/2 years ago and now it won't power on. After troubleshooting via video call with Nespresso, it was determined that it was dead. They offered me a 35% discount on another Vertuo Plus, which would equate to only a 5% discount (because they are on sale on the website for 30% off). This is very disappointing because I loved the taste of the coffee. This was an expensive machine and should have lasted for years longer! This seems to be a known issue. I wish I had read these reviews before I purchased the Vertuo. Poor company policy!!!

It's been less than 2 years and my machine just stopped working. It won't turn on to even troubleshoot. Called Nespresso and there was nothing they could do, they gave me 2 alternative options. It was a great machine while it lasted but super disappointed that it failed so quickly.

Don’t buy the Vertuo next. This machine has issues. I have it since 1.5 years and it does not brew coffee anymore unless I run a cleaning round and clean the barcode. It is a well known issue apparently and Nespresso does not help at all with replacing it.

My machine works great! Was so easy to set up and I save so much money on coffee now that I am making coffee at home. The coffee tastes amazing and is actually strong. I also love that I can mail back my old pods so they aren’t just getting thrown out. I also have been getting the Caramel Starbucks Pods! Highly recommend.
