Description
The Nespresso VertuoPlus single-serve coffee maker and espresso machine brews 4 single-serve cup sizes just with the touch of a button. Each machine includes a complimentary welcome set with a range of Nespresso Vertuo capsules with unique aroma profiles. Nespresso Coffee and Espresso Machine makes use of dual size single-serve capsules for brewing either coffee or espresso with consistent flavor at the touch of a button. Nespresso VertuoPlus uses large capsule for coffee and small for espresso and has patented Centrifusion extraction technology reads a code on the rim of compatible single-serve capsules and automatically sets brewing parameters. The VertuoPlus machine brews four cup sizes: coffee (5 oz and 8 oz) and Single and Double Espresso. A: It only takes the vertuo pods (dome shaped, that have a bar code and spin - these are more expensive about$1.30 vs the fixed dome type pod about $0.75).

Original only takes small, bullet shaped original pods (1-2 shots of espresso sized) and the Vertuo only takes the larger dome shaped Vertuo pods. (1 oz, 2oz espressos, 5 ounce Lungo, 7.7 ounce mugs, *some Vertuo machines also make 12 ounce) This specific machine, the Vertuo Plus (the best one-touch button Vertuo machine they make IMO) specifically takes Vertuo pods and will make 1-2 ounce shots up to a 7.7 ounce mug of coffee. The pods have a bar code that tells the machine how to brew the type of pod and in what size to brew it. You can use the app or the button to brew a pod longer or short to make a bigger cup or stronger smaller cup.

A: This state-of-the-art machine is designed to brew each blend to the specific programmed temperature that is best suited to that blend, as defined by Nespresso Coffee Experts. Quality is very important to us, so the coffee brews to its ideal temperature without burning. Please bear in mind that added cold milk can decrease the temperature of the drink. Our Aeroccinos warm the milk however are designed to not exceed a certain heat level to avoid scorching.

Q: I can’t seem to find the serial number to register on Nespresso’s website. There is a sticker in the drip tray that starts with 21 but it says it’s invalid when adding to registration. Anyone else had this issue?

This machine looks so pretty, but the drinks it produces is so disgusting. I tried so many of the pods it came with and even bought some separately and every single one tasted burnt, bitter, and had a chemical taste to it. I went back to the Keurig brand for my single serve coffee needs.

Junk. I bought 2 of these and returned both, one for me and one for a gift. First issue stupid small area for the cup, barely fit a small mug. Second the cord!! oh my lawwwd so bulky and if you don't have an outlet to the left of the machine you have to drape this preposterously bulky cord across the water tank! which by the way pops off of the machine very easily. Really stupid design. The coffee, nothing special! Just do yourself a gigantic favor and buy a real espresso machine. This is a gigantic waste of money and time. Cheers 🥂

Beautiful and magical
I’m a fan of Nespresso since 2000. I had their first Citiz machine, when just became popular here, and changed to many. Passed along to family members and quality of coffee is beyond amazing. Forget single cup Keurig coffee w plastic and stomach issues. Nespresso is the top notch and money saver. I hardly ever go to Starbucks (that would be a rare treat). Now, I upgraded to this one - white Magnolia edition that even sold out on Nespresso webpage. I got it at Target, great deal with gift card offer. It also came with 10 dollars credit toward coffee order if you’re existing or new customer. They ship coffee within 1-2 days. This machine is quiet, love automated opening and closing (fancy;). Coffee is hot enough. I love having option of vertuo pods in addition to traditional size. Their recycling process is easy and a must. This machine is great on size for small spaces. Color is nice even though wish is more of a cream color. Also, I wish they would come in aqua color for this specific VertuoPlus. Otherwise, it performs perfectly. No issues! I would recommend Target puts them out in their shelves since I didn’t see it in store and yet was available for in-store pickup from the same store. It will sale fast for holidays and it was great deal.

This is saving me so much money. I bought it 3 weeks ago and have not bought coffee out since. I have had other coffee machines and I always intend to make coffee at home, but it NEVER tastes like my Starbucks drinks so I always end up switching back to Starbucks. This makes delicious espresso drinks as good if not better then my local starbucks. I am so happy. Also, it's beatuiful and so are my drinks !
