A: The Breville® BES450 Bambino® is an espresso machine that will create a single portafilter at a time. One cup placed below each spout can produce two single shot cups. There is no function for four to be done at a single time.

A: The frequency of the required descaling for the Breville® BEs450 Bambino® depends entirely on the frequency of shots pulled. The cleaning is recommended to be done once a week with the cleaning tablets. The machine should last for years with proper maintenance and cleaning. And the BES450 has a 9 barr extraction.

I was looking for coffee espresso machine Breville stainless steel espresso but I don’t want nothing big on my kitchen counter I was looking for something easy to make my own espresso coffee at home I decided to buy this one I though it was the best decision but it wasn’t is not sturdy when I try to put the coffee holder in the machine it gave me too much hard time to connected and do my coffee I have to hold the machine to adjusted in the right place I don’t know it was defected item , but for me is waisted time and money so I decided to returned to store and start to looking for better one

This machine works great, and pulls great shots for me. The reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is that some pieces of this machine do not feel as luxurious as other Breville models I have used. The portafilter appears to be aluminum, and doesn't have the heft and feel of the more expensive models. I have found no reference to the portafilter being aluminum on the description online when you purchase, and I wasn't able to find that specification referenced anywhere on the exterior of the packaging, only on assembly paperwork once the box is opened. Steam wand may also be aluminum, but I'm not certain. I do appreciate the size of this item, and again, still makes grear coffee, just the same level of user experience I have come to associate with Breville.

Horrible purchase
Purchased two times in 3 months. Both times stopped pulling shots. Target needs to stop selling products that have been returned. Breville needs to recall these machines we are spending a lot of money.

Double wall filter holder makes amazing crema
I had a Breville Cafe Roma for 15 years before updating with the Bambino. My only dislike is that the steel exterior is much thinner than the thick, sturdy Cafe Roma. But WOW - the Bambino makes really excellent espresso, with thick, rich crema! HINT - do NOT use the single wall filter holder that comes installed. Switch to the double wall, which is indicated in the manual only for lower quality or old espresso. I had freshly roasted, freshly ground, high quality espresso and the single wall filter holder made garbage espresso. The double wall makes thick, luxurious crema and delicious espresso. So that's my recommendation. Otherwise I love how fast it is. Great machine!

Stopped working after 2 weeks
Stopped working after 2 weeks. Breville support got on a video call and told me I would need to ship it back to them and they would get me a new unit in another 2 weeks? Too much hassle. Luckily target accepted the return.

Terriby cheap machine. Not up to Breville standards.
I returned the Bambino; it was cheaply made and didn't live up to what I expect from a Breville machine. I instead got the Barista Express for my summer home (a model I already have at my main residence) and am delighted with it. I had hoped for a smaller machine without built in grinder, as I have a separate Breville burr grinder, but the Bambino was not it. Just not what Breville should be putting its name on.

Love my Bambino!
Love my Bambino! It took a bit of experimenting with coffee variety and grind size but now I consistently get a great cup of coffee I really like that it doesn't take up a lot of room on the counter. The machine arrived less than a week after I ordered it on-line. I would definitely recommend this machine to a friend.

I’ve had this for about a month and genuinely use it every morning that I’m able to. I’m so glad I purchased this when I did!! Very easy to use. HOWEVER! The dual wall portafilter basket gets clogged a lot for me….. I’m not sure how to prevent this/clean it effectively to prevent this from happening so often. I plan on investing in a good coffee grinder so I’m able to transition into the single walled basket. Despite the clogs I will still do anything I can to get my espresso shot at any time possible!!!!!!!! I <3 my Bambino

Worst Machine on the Entire Planet for this Bougie Brand
This is the worst I mean worst espresso machine I’ve ever used. The pieces are so hard to get into the machine. It continually doesn’t even run the water through the espresso, and it’s weak or never works. I hate this machine so much.

Great sturdy lil machine
I’ve been using mine for about 3 or 4 years now, and it still works great! I use it almost everyday and have not had many issues with it. I eventually bought a new porta filter with an open basket, one because I wanted one with a wooden handle, and two because I was having issues cleaning the double barreled basket. I prefer the open baskets but they do splash all over the place sometimes. I only ever use the two shot option, and the steam wand works great. It’s a great beginner or budget espresso machine, I’d eventually like a machine with a grinder included and a better pour. This does the job for now and has saved a ton of money making lattes and americanos at home.
