Q: My milk frother doesn't heat up my milk, is there a secret? I run the frother on the side of my milk cup until the green light goes off, however my milk at times is barely even warm.

  • A: You can also warm it up in the microwave if you want it hotter and transfer it into your frother cup. I can get excellent microfoam with six oz but I take my time. You want to get a cyclone going.

  • A: You have to pull shots first then wait till the light turns green before turning on the steam wand. It has to build up pressure and by pulling shots first it heats the machine up faster.

  • A: This machine is for single shots only. Even though it supposedly can do double shots, the double shot portafilter only holds up to 10 grams rather than the mandatory 18-21 grams needed for a true double shot.

Q: We just purchased this machine. Is anyone else having trouble twisting the portafilter into the center position? Mine has stopped quite a bit shy of center, and that was after some degree of force. I'd need a wrench or a hammer to get it centered.

  • A: Manual machine not automatic. I can make sure its pulling one or two oz, single or double. Some automatics are over or under and no way to recalibrate it. I haven't found automatic frother yet?

    Waste of money

    Haven’t had it for a year and it doesn’t pour a shot correctly it’s watery. And the steamer doesn’t work properly Wish my husband looked at the reviews before buying this i definitely would not have bought it:(

    Pump weak/working incorrectly after a month

    I bought this machine in hopes it would last a while. After the first month, the pump started acting like it was getting weak. It started pushing the water through the grounds and would come out as a drip. Originally, I thought it was an error on my part, but it’s not and it still comes out as a drip. Definitely returning this product and not purchasing this brand again.

    Not worth buying

    I bought this as a first time home espresso machine. I returned it after a few days. I didn't like how I had to manually estimate the amount of espresso to pull. The puck in the portafilter was always soggy. And the steamer wand NEVER heated the milk.

    Makes good espresso

    This is our third one. It makes good espressos (we use Starbucks espresso roast). They last about 5 years (hence 4 stars instead of 5).

    Great Product

    Works great, use it everyday. I switched from a pressurized portafilter to a bottomless portafilter and can’t seem to figure out why it keeps channeling and spraying.

    Save your money

    Save your self the heart ache if your a coffee enthusiast. Have had mine since July and don’t use it everyday and its already having issues. Coffee grounds in your coffee, poorly made gaskets for the portafilter grouphead. And leaks water and steam where it shouldnt

    Already broken!!!

    DISAPPOINTED! After just 10 months of using that main button fell off! I guess De’Longhi is not what used to be…I tried to contacted delonghi customer service but they didn’t respond!!!

    Don't

    At different times my husband found 2 of these at re-use centers and brought them home bcause they looked like brand new - they did inside too. After they worked the same way, we decided to buy a new one. It acted the same way. The coffee is weak because the machine doesn't move the water back after it brews to the right place and instead puts it into the milk. The work around that I did for many months on the brand new one is to either take the water off of the frothing wand into a separate cup multiple times until it is gone before frothing or turn the machine off for 10 minutes and dump the water out of the plastic tank. But always test to see if water is coming out of the frothing wand! Also the pump isn't really built for espresso and you can see and hear it. So it dies after 6-8 months. Get a different brand. Looking at this brand in diffYou check.

    Water leaks out

    I purchased this February 2025. The water is leaking out of the bottom June 2025. I had the same problem with the last espresso machine (same brand and model) but it lasted for 3 years. I tried to speak to customer service but they don’t offer refunds or replacements. This machine is only 3 months old. I would not recommend purchasing this. Spend more money and get a better machine.

    Great little machine

    I am still using the Stilosa I purchased from you 12/2022, and it is still performing like new. 😊 It does exactly everything I expect making my daily+ lattes, is beautiful and at a price I can afford.My order for a new Stilosa is a backup for future use.     Lack of basic accessories

    I would love to give this product a better review however I was shocked with the amount of plastic used in this machine. Sadly this unit doesn't include a steaming mug of any kind like shown on the box and the 'tamper' is just a plastic stick I wouldn't recommend using.
