I ordered this online and picked it up at my local target. The espresso machine is pretty excellent. It allows you to grind fresh beans and froth milk. Excellent for people who have not made espresso before. I got it for my parents and they like it a lot. It's sturdy, well built and easy to use. You get your coffee in a few minutes and the milk frothing process is equally easy. I didn't give it 5 stars because it doesn't give you ability to change grind size or Froth milk like traditional espresso makers. At the same time the machine does a lot of the work for you and makes consistent and easy to make lattes in my experience. One tip I learned that improved espresso performance was to run the espresso grinding for 4 seconds, stop and then run the espresso process again for a larger amount of coffee in your shot.

My first espresso maker and it has been very fun making café style drinks at home. The learning curve is small and the machine brews really quickly. The options and controls are simplified, so almost anyone can easily use this machine. I believe it's a great mid-way between people who want somewhat of a café experience but are not professionals or aficionados themselves. Previously, I was not the biggest fan of coffee, but since purchasing this machine, I've been enjoying a lot more coffee based drinks on a weekly basis. The design is sleek and compact, and therefore fits perfectly in my small coffee bar space. Also includes a wand which simultaneously makes a nice foam as your coffee brews. Overall, a good machine for those wanting to bridge the gap between ease and quality.

I have thoroughly enjoyed this espresso machine so much. Before trying this machine, I had a traditional espresso machine that I felt like I could never get the espresso shot to be perfect. That is what I love about this Philips machine - it does all the work for you! And it’s perfect every time! You put the beans in the machine and put the portafilter in, and it grinds the beans, levels it out, and pours it out for you. You cannot mess it up! I never knew I needed this machine in my life until I got it. It may not have all the fancy bells and whistles like other machines, but I don’t think it’s needed. It’s straight to the point and easy to use, which I appreciate. It also has a frother that is attached and has three different settings, it does it all for you! The froth always turns out perfect and creamy. The espresso turns out high quality. I have seriously been blown away by this machine.

The Philips Barista Latte Automatic coffee and espresso machine design is so sleek and elegant. It looks so stunning on the counter. I only need to add the water and coffee beans. It makes the coffee from scratch and tastes amazingly delicious and makes the best coffee at home with fresh grinder coffee beans. It makes my mornings so refreshing. The machine is easy to use . I followed all the instructions provided in the manual. I love my morning coffee a bit stronger and it has an option to add the extra espresso shot without the necessity to brew again . The inbuilt milk frother always gives me a café coffee experience. The density dial feature allows me to adjust the milk foam density. The frother has the adjustable level and it makes the milk hot to perfection. It’s the best coffee machine for me and my family. It makes the amazing delicious latte with milk froth. It quickly makes the coffee and it’s being used daily in my home. The cleaning process is also easy and simple. Freshly grounded coffee aroma at home. It’s saving my money and time. I’m completely in love with it.

What I like most is how simple it is. I don’t have to mess with a bunch of settings to get a good cup of coffee. The espresso comes out rich and flavorful, and the milk drinks are easy to make when I want a latte or cappuccino. The Milky White color looks beautiful on the counter and gives it a clean, modern look. It also doesn’t take up a huge amount of space, which I appreciate. For me, the biggest advantage is convenience. Freshly ground beans, good espresso, and minimal effort in the morning. It’s one of those appliances that quickly becomes part of the daily routine.

Couldn’t be happier with this coffee machine overall. It looks fantastic on the counter, the controls are intuitive, and every cup comes out rich and hot. No complaints on that front. My one gripe is the leftover coffee puck. There’s no reminder that it’s still sitting in there, so if you forget to empty it and start another cup, the whole thing overflows. Wiped down my counter more than a few times because of it. A simple alert would sort this out in a heartbeat, not sure why it wasn’t built in. Still a great buy though, just remember to toss the puck after every cup.

Definitely a unique espresso machine which quickly grinds and gives you a fresh aromatic coffee in a press of a button. The product was easy to use even for first time buyers, with provided instruction manual which was easy yo follow. Definitely a eco-friendly coffee machine that does not require a disposable K-Cup, rather the provider Portafilter holder collects the coffee puck and easy to clean. Also another valuable feature is the compact size and built material, which makes it easy to carry and attractive on the counter-top. The Lungo button and intensity boost buttons were convenient to get extra shot and extra strength without needing to do brew one more time. Even refilling water is easy by just removing the top cover of the water cannister and filling from the top. The Milk frother was with adjustable level is a bonus. Freshly brewed espresso with warm milk makes it easy to prepare Latte at home. Only disadvantage of this product is the use of plastics where in the milk frother, which I dont feel comfortable using it on a daily basis.

We’ve been using this machine every single day for the last two weeks, and we’re super happy with it. It’s super straightforward to use, easy to clean and they do recommend clean after a use, and makes an awesome cup of coffee. I prefer my coffee on the stronger side, so I love that there's an option to add an extra shot or additional coffee. The built-in frother is powerful—The density dial settings easily handles different milk foam densities to give us that perfect coffee-shop experience. Importantly , both the coffee and the milk come out plenty hot. it looks great on the counter. It has a very compact footprint and doesn’t take up much kitchen counter space at all. Overall, it’s just a really enjoyable machine to use every day.

I love this machine so much more than the other philips which only made espresso it had no other options so Id always have to mix in the froth after. This is a game changer! I really like the way it looks, its accessories and just overall design! Well made and makes a cup equivalent to Starbucks any day minus the $10!

Lattes are my preferred morning brew and the Baristina makes it faster and easier to get my morning cup ready to go. One thing that stood out was how quiet the bean grinder was. I thought all grinding machines had to be noisy in some regard, but clearly not the Baristina. The frother however, can be quite loud. The machine was especially easy to set up. I cleaned a few parts, added my beans and water, and it was ready to go! You do have to be careful to keep an eye on the water level and keep the portafilter clear, since there are no light indicators. If you press the buttons too many times, you could overflow the grinds or espresso. I got the white machine but would have preferred black. The drips and grounds definitely dirty up the machine easily. Not a deal breaker, but something to keep in mine. The machine is very simple and it’s so easy to take apart and clean. There’s just a couple of buttons and it won’t take any prior experience to make a fresh cup of espresso. My husband prefers the lungo, since it is closer to a cup a coffee in taste and consistency. I had to tweak my milk to espresso ratio, but once I got it figured out, I have a consistent cup every time. The frother heats my oak milk to perfection and it’s much more consistent than my previous microwave method. I definitely prefer this machine over any others I’ve owned and I look forward to using it every morning! It’s a beautifully designed machine that looks perfect on my coffee bar.

Really happy with this coffee machine. It looks gorgeous, it’s super easy to use, and the coffee is great. No complaints there. The only thing that gets me is the coffee residue puck. There’s no alert when it’s still in there, so if you forget to throw it out and make another cup, everything overflows. Made a mess on my counter a few times. A simple warning would fix this so easily, no idea why they didn’t include that. Still worth it though, just don’t forget to toss the puck after every cup.

I cleaned a few parts, added water and beans, and it was ready to go. One thing that stands out is just how quiet the bean grinder is. I thought all grinders were noisy in some regard, but wow, this thing is quick and you barely hear it. Surprisingly enough, the milk frother was significantly louder. It's a high pitched screech too, and one reason I didn't give the machine 5 stars. Not a deal breaker, but something to consider if you like your mornings quiet like me. The espresso is fresh and there's a noticeable difference from express coffees like you get from pods. The fresh bean smell is another pro! The only thing I feel like is missing is the option for a double shot of espresso, since this is my preferred cup. I got the Baristina in white, but the drips and occasional coffee grounds around the machine are definitely noticeable and require wiping up often. I'd definitely opt for the black machine if you can.
