Have had the machine for about 1 month. I am a bit of a beginner in making expresso drinks and not an expert. We have had the inexpensive steam makers and a moka pot in the past; so I do have to learn better tampering and dosing. But my husband and I love the coffee flavor we are able to extract.

I actually wanted a different brand but for the money this was a good purchase. I’m new to espresso. I like the crema it makes and the option of having a single shot of esresso or a double shot. I noticed when I do a double shoy, I have to hold the button down longer to get a full cup. This ma chine heats up quickly an voila a perfect cup of espresso. Like others have stated , the damper is kind of cheese is. Overall, not bad for the price.

I decided to save some $$ and invest in an espresso machine. I had no idea what I was looking for or if I would use this thing long term. I looked at all brands of espresso makers from the most expensive to least expensive.. I settled on this brand. The price was great and had the features I wanted. I have to say this has been one of the greatest investments for me! I love this little machine (figuratively speaking). This is my first so I don’t have anything to compare it to.. but it makes a great cup of espresso and I am starting to venture into lattes and cappuccinos. Saving myself tons on making my own BS shaken espressos at home! I would definitely recommend this machine!

But experience . It's very noisy, and there are times when the coffee extraction process is slower. And there are times when the water takes a while to heat up. So if you're in a hurry in the morning and don't know how your rebel coffee maker will turn out, get up earlier.

This is a great little espresso machine. It's not fancy but it gets the job done. It's noisy, though. I'm very happy with it and drink way too much coffee now that I have it because the shots are so good.

Good for iced coffee, pulls a decent shot. The steamer is a sputtering hot mess. Literally. But since I drink iced drinks I don’t really care. Tried the dedica maestro plus also—worth the investment if you want an automatic steamer. This is more my speed and budget. I think this and a decent burr grinder is fantastic for a beginner espresso lover. Breville is garbage. Delonghi hasn’t failed me. Last machine I got from this maker lasted over ten YEARS and I only replaced it cause I cracked the water tank in a move and wanted a new machine.

I’m pretty happy with this. It took some getting used to on how to load up the coffee to get it to brew right. I suspect most of the negative reviews are related to this. No expresso machine is just going to do it for you. You just have to figure it out.

Really like the machine, especially for the price point. We had a much more expensive machine prior and had a lot of problems. Cleaning was a pain, this machine is so easy to clean. You save so much money from going to coffee shops. Fun to learn to do it at home on your own.
