A: The brew temps for this unit are between 190 - 196F for functions that only brew espresso and 140F - 150F for functions that use the frother as well. First off, I did not receive a free espresso machine, so this is my unbiased opinion (unlike the majority of the reviews for this item). I was very hopeful that this would be a great espresso maker, as it seemed so user friendly. Two trips to Target later, I’m still unable to make a great drink! The first Chefman espresso maker I purchased would not produce enough frothed milk. The user guide stated that a double latte would make a 12-13.5 oz drink, but I was lucky to get this thing to make a 3-4 oz beverage whether set on the single or double setting (and that’s the milk + espresso). The guide also stated that the unit would beep three times once the drink was finished brewing, which it never did. So, I packed it up and went to Target to exchange for a replacement unit. This time around, the machine is making the appropriate sized drinks, and I can tell that the frother pump works much better than the previous unit. However, the drinks it makes are lukewarm at best. The espresso shots come out nice and hot, but the milk frother appears to barely heat the milk at all. The second unit also does not beep three times when the beverage is finished brewing, as stated in the user guide. Unfortunately, I will be returning the second unit as well, and will not be exchanging for a replacement! All around a disappointing experience!!! The pros are that it is a very affordable espresso maker, and it seems to make decent shots of espresso. If you want it to do anything besides make shots of espresso, I would suggest skipping this machine.

These are her words, it was easy to clean, haven't had to do any maintenance yet so unsure there, has plenty of options for a newbie like myself, the water reservoir holds plenty and I love how once the cycle is done i can drink it immediately bc its not too hot.
