So disappointing
The machine was great except for occasional over grinding, until one month out of warranty the over grinding became constant. The machine makes a mess and wastes tons of beans -- an issue that apparently is common with the earlier models due to some kind of malfunction they didn't figure out before putting it on the market. Unfortunately since my unit is a month out of warranty Ninja won't do anything at all to fix it, other than "trouble shoot" by phone which consisted of brewing one cup of coffee so they could see the problem. For such an expensive unit, I believe it should last more than a year and when it doesn't the company should take responsibility or at least offer an option to fix it (even if it is paid). So disappointed with Ninja and will not be purchasing their products again.

Versatile and great coffee
I now own two of these machines at two different locations. They make consistently good coffee, whether single cup, espresso or latee/ capuchino etc. Very easy to use after spending a little time getting acquainted. Negative comments from other reviews may possibly be due to water quality difference and bean selection. I notice some difference in taste between the two machines, which use different locations' water supplies. They are ergonomically engineered, easy to clean. The only improvement i would make is to add an option to swap the bean bin (decaf to regular would be easier) and allow the frothing to take place at the same time as brewing, so i can pour the foam as soon as the coffee is ready... Other than that, i was happy enough with the first one to buy another, and there are a lot of machines out there to choose from

Bitter tasting
Bitter. I want to like this machine but nothing I made has a good taste. Did a zoom call for over an hour and still not great. We went through almost an entire bag of beans trying to troubleshoot it. I have tried three different brand of beans.

Not user friendly
Not user friendly. Takes 20 mins to make a cappuccino. By the time you clean around the machine and the milk frother, the drink would be cold. Additionally, the machine wastes so much water for no reason. Requires about 1.5 L every other day just after making two double espressos each day. Water starts leaking around the machine. Wanted to love it but honestly was so disappointed. Will be returning.

Useless barista assist
The barista assist is useless. It guesses the grind size and changes no matter how many test brews you try to see what it recommends.

I’m obsessed
I’m obsessed - this machine can do (and does it Well) everything I want . Officially there is no need to go to a coffee shop. Lattes cold brew cold foam. All the things. It’s so simple to use . I had a Breville for years and this is just so much easier to use and consistent in quality .

Horrible experience
*photos are of the replacement base received* I bought this about a month ago. Finally settled in after a move, followed the set up process.. okay great i was so excited. Following day I made a drink, yum! *This great!* next day, i get an error code "add beans" no troubleshooting

Don’t Get Rid of Your Old Coffee Machine
The frother stopped working. We went through the warranty process and sent our unit back to be repaired. After a week with no coffee machine we received the same unit with the same problem. Now we are being asked to send it back again before receiving a replacement. Warranty process is inefficient and a massive inconvenience.

Great Machine
I absolutely love how this machine works and fits my kitchen aesthetic. Mostly just love that I can make cold brew and iced coffee with cold foam every morning or my husband can make his hot cup of coffee with right after. it does SO much - you don't have to have much / any skill. Truly worth every penny for the quality of coffee I get compared to the Breville I was using that I never knew how to dial in.

I bought this coffee machine as soon as it was available in Australia as a family member also purchased one and recommended it. This is a great machine which finds the correct grind for you depending on what type of coffee you choose. It makes a great, consistent coffee. The only thing is you can't extract your coffee at the same time as the milk frother. Also there are no settings which allow you to adjust the temperature of the milk. I have also just discovered after just 2 weeks some chrome on the end of the portafilter handle has chipped off and it has not been dropped or knocked.

Tasty treats
I’ve used this a bunch since I got it in the mail. Love the espressos and the frothing systems. Easy to use and makes delicious hot and cold beverages. It was a little hard to figure out the manual frothing but once I did it worked like a charm. Haven’t tried the drip coffees or the cold brews yet but looking forward to trying those features out as well. Love the size of this machine. It doesn’t take up a large footprint on my counter. The directions were pretty easy to understand and the set up was minimal.
