    Reliable and Exactly What We Needed

    Unresponsive after less than 3 years

    My machine lasted less than three years. It's unresponsive and the led's just cycle through the options as if it's in store demo mode. Brews fine, but you'd think it would have lasted me longer.

    1 star I’ve owned this machine for less than a year and on my second unit. Ninja cannot get the nespresso pod dispenser to work properly without wasting endless pods that are never brewed. When Ninja was contacted for the second time their only solution was a downgrade to a machine worth half of its price! When I asked for a credit to put towards a better coffee machine (willing to pay the difference) I was refused! Not at all what I expected from this brand from which I have purchased endless appliances!

    Loved it when we first got it but only lasted a year and a few months. For $280 it should last a little longer. All ninja offered was a 30%discount on a new machine. No thanks.

    Keeps breaking

    The pod side is great when it works. Keeps breaking. Got a replacement about 6 months ago. Now that is broken and the warranty is up. Will not be purchasing ninja products anymore

    When ordering today, Friday 11-7-25 at 1:45 pm there was a message in the page that said, if you order by 3:00 pm you will receive tomorrow, Saturday, When the order processed it says delivery on Sunday. That is very frustrating when it prompts you something positive that makes you make the decision to order from Target vs anywhere else as you promised delivery next day abd THEN YOU DON’T! Makes me not want to shop st target anymore

    Not worth the high cost

    After a little over a year, the performance of this machine declined rapidly. The brew temp for coffee and espresso is nowhere near hot enough. I have tried everything. I’ve tried preheating the machine. I’ve tried running a brew with no coffee first to warm up the machine. Still not hot enough. Very disappointing considering the cost of this machine.

    Really like this machine and all it's features. It's highly functionable and simple to use. My biggest complaint is due the units longevity. this is the second ninja brewing system that I’ve gone through in two years. This unit began to fail me right outside the warranty.

    Didn't last the price.

    Loved this and spent a nice dime on it but unfortunately after almost 2 years, the coffee side does not work anymore and makes our coffee watered down.

    Easy to use while mostly asleep. 99% ideal.

    This is a great product, and a good value at this price. The espresso size choices are very close to perfect for the amount of coffee in a Nespresso original pod. The brew-through side is adequate, producing a brew quality equal to the quality of the coffee choice.

    Poor quality

    I received as a wedding gift and a year later the buttons are unresponsive and it randomly beeps. I tried troubleshooting and was told I am outside my warranty by a couple months and so they said there’s nothing they can do. I loved it while it worked but don’t waste your money because you’ll need a new one every year.

    Would not buy

    Received this machine for a housewarming gift and a year later there is power loss. Went through all the troubleshooting and support for them to say this is a known issue with this machine and we haven't found a solution. However, since its outside of the warranty timeframe, they can only offer me a 20% discount on the same machine. to have the same issues a year later. Extremely disappointed.

    Not “Smart” at all, wasted, costly and huge

    I have had it for like 8-9 months and it’s crap. It leaks/drips. It starts without the coffee pot(Society had “smart” tech for this, it was the spring knob on the top of the pot). The frothed doesn’t offer a heating element. It doesn’t come with or have reusable pods even though when I called the company they acted all cryptic and said “there are reusable pods for the espresso”, well I haven’t found them and that’s not convenient at all to not share who makes a reusable pod. It’s the modern era where landfills outnumber people! Disposable stuff needs to go, that would be “smart tech”. Not impressed at all. You should find a better option for far less money.

    Espresso feature not working properly

    After a few months of using it, it stopped puncturing the pods/capsules. I’ve wasted enough money trying different brands, thinking that would be the problem.

    It's worth it if you pay for espresso

    I have had this machine for one year. I've lost maybe 5 pods due to some mishap or other w/ the water flowing throught the pods. But that was almost all upon my initial use. Since then, it has proven invaluable and kept me out of starbucks for shots to the tune of hundreds of dollars.

    Espresso system doesn’t work - many reviews agree

    Have been using for three months and the espresso pods work at a rate of about one in five or six. The system seems incapable of puncturing pods. I’ve seen dozens of other reviews on this site and others that say the same thing and haven’t seen any response from ninja to indicate they’ve done something about it or made up for the money lost by customers.

    DON’T BUY

    Loved this until the one year mark when it started breaking. The espresso side doesn’t brew espresso at all anymore. It just pours out hot dirty water. I wish I saw the reviews before I bought this because I would not buy this again. So disappointing.

    Great Coffee Maker

    I've always ground my coffee before each brew but the flavor from this coffee maker just tastes so much better than my other one. Also, the built in frother is a great feature & I use it all the time.
