A: Keeps happening to me too. We had a different Ninja and it happened with that one too. We’ve tried different grounds and filters - still happens.

Q: Does anyone else have the issues of it spraying everywhere when trying the K-Cup function? It works well for water but when we place a K-Cup in there it just creates a huge mess.

A: It will do that if you use the soft, recycleable pods like I tried initially. It will work as it should if you switch to the "regualr" all plastic ones.

Use the Multi-Serve dial to select the brew size. 2. Press the BREW STYLE button to choose Over Ice Brew. 3. Press the START BREW button on the dial to start the brew. To cancel the brew at any time, press the START BREW button on the dial again or press the Power button. 4. The brewer will beep to signal that the brew has started. The progress bar around the dial will illuminate to indicate the status of the brew. When the brew is finished, the machine will beep again, and "End" will appear on the display.

Loved this coffee maker so much I bought a second one for our holiday home. Big water reservoir for a large pot of coffee that stays warm for a couple hours after. Haven’t used the pod part yet. Easy to use and easy to clean.

There are so many things to love about the Ninja DualBrew Specialty Coffee System! It’s an incredibly versatile and easy to use speciality coffee maker, and I appreciate the ability to make a full pot of coffee as well. It’s very high quality and easy to clean, and the setup was a breeze! I tend to use the 4 ounce specialty setting to make espresso-like coffee, and the. I add milk and flavoring to get a coffee shop experience from my own home. I love that you can use the basket to brew coffee/espresso, or you can also use your favorite k cups! Additionally, it’s a breeze to make boiling water for tea or hot cocoa, and it uses a different water line than the coffee, so no more coffee grounds in my hot water! The one negative I found was the milk frother. Though it does a good job frothing milk, you have to heat the milk first. I found myself stopping using this feature because it didn’t feel that there was much benefit. Overall a great, versatile specialty coffee maker in a decent price range!

Spilling the tea on this brewer
I enjoy this system! Pros- I can get rid of my kettle as the hot water is an easy pour, the scoop that comes attached goes back on so effortlessly, coffee tastes great, easy to use, i enjoy the k cup portion can be removed if you just want the carafe. Takes #4 filters (had to buy all new filters), enjoy the part that comes down for single cup brewing and folds back up easily Cons- I find it takes exact same time as my old maker to brew coffee, wish it was a little quicker but im being picky :-) so far a great machine

The Ninja DualBrew Pro - makes the best tasting and hottest coffee I have ever made from home, plus the Boil water selection for making tea is just awesome. I would recommend - washing all components before using and running 2 trial breakin brews to help season the brewer. After using the DualBrew for a few times I would rate this a 5 plus - love how accurate the ounce selector is , the easy to push light up buttons are , how simple it is to brew boiling water for tea or oatmeal, easy push button cleaning - and best of all the flavor of the coffee on rich selection. Nice Job to the Developement Department of Ninja

Don't buy this product!
I thought I would love this product but unfortunately, if there was a lemon law for coffee makers, this would apply. I called a couple of months before warranty ran out and said the pod attachment didn't work so they sent me a new one which also didn't work. Now the coffee maker stops at 20% in and indicates clean which I have done numerous times, I now have had the coffee maker about 18 months so it looks as though I'll have to purchase another,.., Poor rating.

Does not come with the 3 prong pod adapter that is shown in the pictures. Ninja has been trying to send me one, but so far I’ve been sent the single prong pod adapter. Still waiting for them to work this out….

Ninja does not disappoint!
I've had it a couple weeks now and it's fabulous! This machine really does make better coffee. I'm using the same kind of coffee as I did with my normal coffee maker and it just tastes so much smoother. It literally replaced 3 machines.

Good but doesn’t last
I’ve gone through 2 of these. Great when it works, I really have liked it, but then they stop working suddenly, mechanically. Really liked the first one, maybe just a fluke, over warranty time so purchased again. Have gone through 2 within 4 years.

Makes Great coffee
My husband and I bought this coffee maker years ago when we remodeled our kitchen. We love the dual brew option. It makes a great cup of coffee. We choose to use filtered water in our coffee maker and it keeps the flow clear from clogging like tap water would cause. We highly recommend this product.

I received this coffee machine As a gift 10 months ago and 8 months ago it stopped working the pods don't work and I can’t make it 12 cup of coffee every time I tried to mke refmgular code start beeping and show clean I I have always maintained it by cleaning it but still not working even I buy a new pod replacement

Love ninja but this disappoints!
The coffee machine works fine but the k cup attachment stopped working. It will not change to the pod automatically and I can’t get it to work. We have cleaned it, wiped it out but nothing helped.

Dot get if using pods
The perfect idea, and perfect machine with a small problem, when you use pods you in up with coffee grounds in your coffee. If it wasn’t for that I would have given it 5 stars but that is the one reason I wanted this one and I love Ninja!

Kcup Pods won't brew.
The maker doesnt't brew pods. just spews steam all over and no coffee. Regular brew cycle works fine..One would think that the amount of money spent on this you could rely on it to work as intended. So far trying to get assistance has been futile. I don't see me pruchasing any more of the Ninja products.

Solid Machine
Have had this coffee maker for about a year now. It's a pretty solid product and has a variety of features for my family to make all sorts of beverages. As long as you keep up on cleaning/descaling it's good to go day after day. We did have an issue with the K-Cup attachment getting clogged at one point but was easily fixed by taking some time to understand how the water flows through it. I feel like any bad reviews here with people commenting about weird noises was related to this issue, but if you just take some time to understand the machine, anything that could go weird or wrong seems to be easily sorted.
