Q: For a single serve can you use coffee grounds instead of pods
A: Yes, you can absolutely use coffee grounds instead of pods for a single-serve brew with the Ninja CFP101. Just remove the pod adapter, insert the grounds basket with either a permanent or paper filter, add your coffee grounds, usually about two to three tablespoons for an 8-ounce cup and select your desired size and brew style. Make sure to use a medium grind so the filter doesn’t clog, and avoid overfilling past the max line. Once you start brewing, the machine will deliver a fresh cup without needing a pod.

Q: The last coffee maker I had said it was compatible with all K-cups yet every brand I tried exploded and grounds went everywhere. Does this maker accept all brands?
A: Great question! The Ninja CFP101 DualBrew Coffee Maker is designed to be compatible with K-Cup pods, including most major brands. However, while it supports standard K-Cups, some off-brand or non-standard pods may not fit properly and could lead to issues like leaking or coffee grounds spilling, something you've unfortunately experienced before. To avoid this, it's best to stick with well-known, standard-sized K-Cup brands and ensure the pod adapter is clean and securely in place before brewing. Pods with unusual shapes or soft tops may not seal correctly, which can cause problems. Thankfully, the CFP101 also gives you the option to brew with your own ground coffee, offering more flexibility and control over your brew.
