Very basic toner. It did leave my skin hydrated but that’s about all it does. I used to use it to get rid of any dirt and makeup left over for a fresh look. So told you want a simple basic toner, this will work

I tried this alcohol free toner when I started trying to get rid of my acne. I had dry flakey skin so I loved that this is alcohol free. I also liked that it removed any dirt or makeup left at the end of the day. It didn't dry my face out more but didn't help restore my moisture barrier. This is a good first toner for teens but there's other cost effective options with benefits.

After cleansing my face, I go in with Neutrogena’s Alcohol-Free Toner. I simply wet a cotton pad with toner and begin to swipe in a downward motion starting from the top of my face working my way down, making sure to avoid the eyes. I usually use two cotton pads, one for my left side of the face, and the other for my right side of the face. After use, I can see on my cotton pads that it always removes extra makeup, dirt, etc. that wasn’t removed from the cleanser. I love that I don’t really pick up a scent from this toner either. After use, it doesn’t leave your face feeling oily or stripped of your natural oils. I let it set a bit, then go in with serums. NOTE: I believe it’s recently gone through repackaging/ new formula to a now simple clear bottle with their signature blue colored label, because I can’t locate the original blue tapered bottle + white cap in the stores anymore. Be aware the newer formula contains different ingredients, too.
