I used this mask twice and I did like it. As a Cosmetologist, I decided to look at the ingredients. Did my research and I noticed that they promote this mask as hydrogel Hyaluronic acid the down side it’s not the first ingredient meaning it doesn't have a great quantity of that ingredient. The first is water (good) then it has these other ingredients that are solvents, and emulsifiers and FRAGRANCE! Those who have sensitive skin I recommend you NOT to use this product! Some of these ingredients can CAUSE IRRITATION! This mask worked for me for a couple of hours until my face felt dry again, BUT I will not be using this product again for the reasons I explained above.
As a I usually do I decided to do a face mask for relaxation and to pamper my skin. I’ve never used Neutrogena hydrogel masks before and don’t use any neutrogena products in my routine. The directions were not clear how to apply the mask and the set up of the mask and the white sheet was very confusing. Placed it for 15 minutes and I went a good 5 hours with it well dried on my face. Then in my sleep I began to scratch near my mouth and my eyes and so my face became heated and have swollen patches. Really had high hopes for this.
This is one of my tops 5 favorite sheet mask. It’s not much of a sheet it’s like a jelly textured mask. I also don’t use it daily I will use it when I’m feeling the most dry and I feel it within minutes give me hydration. I have 0 complaints. Price is decent for the quality of mask you’re receiving.
It leaves my skin feeling refreshed and clean. I usually don't put lotion on afterward at it does a great job of hydrating my skin! It is a little pricey but not too much if you only use these products once a week.
I've never had much of a skin care routine (kind of a tomboy in that aspect) so I don't know a lot about this stuff. But I am approaching 30 and have very sensitive, combination skin that can get really dry and flaky in parts but can also break out really easily with most moisturizers so I've been looking for the right one. I had high hopes for this and at first was really excited. It made my skin reallyyy soft and smooth and dewy. But by day two I had tons of really tiny bumps that weren't really visible but could be felt and took a while to get rid of. I also found the functionality of the mask quite cumbersome — it was insanely slippery and hard to handle and wouldn't stay on my face. If the product works for your skin, it may be best to try the jar version and apply it yourself.
