Great fast drying, matte sunscreen for daily use

This sunscreen offers great protection with a lightweight, fast-absorbing formula that doesn’t feel greasy or leave the skin shiny. It’s affordable and works well on sensitive skin without causing irritation. However, it does dry quickly, so you need to spread it fast before it starts to get patchy. One downside is that it can leave a noticeable white cast, especially on deeper skin tones.

I've been using a different chemical SPF 50 sunscreen for a while, but we just moved and I've been spending a lot more time outside, and ended up with a weird sunburn in the middle of my forehead. I looked for a 100 SPF sunscreen at Target and couldn't find one, so I grabbed this one for the time being. The first time I used it, it was burning my eyes - it wasn't as horrible as some I've tried, but it was enough to be bothersome the entire time I had it on. The next day, I used my old SPF 50 around my eyes, and then applied this one all over the rest of my face and neck. We went to a comedy club that afternoon and, a couple of hours in, I went to the bathroom. While washing my hands, I noticed white patches on my face. I looked up close and realized it was the sunscreen. I was so embarrassed. I asked my friend (who I haven't seen in a while) why she didn't tell me, and she said she felt bad cause she thought it was some kind of skin condition. >.< It never even occurred to me to check for a cast, since this is a chemical sunscreen. Neutrogena is a good brand and I'm sure this sunscreen is effective, but with the eye burning and white cast, I cannot wear or recommend it.
Good quality SPF 70!

This product was on sale and I have used Neutrogena products before, it worked well on my face no white residue and very comfortable with makeup!

It doesn't make a white cast. Very subtle scent.
Sheer.... not even close.

No matter how long you wait after putting this on, you will end up with white streaks on your clothing. I wore this stuff to a protest. Every time I looked down, the creases of my arms at the elbow wrists and pits would turn white where sweat built up even just slightly. I don't want to know what my face looked like...DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY on this product. I'm still sunburned.
Separates into oily muck

I bought 2 twin packs and the sunscreen was terrible. It kept separating and came out as oily liquid and whitish paste no matter how hard and lOng I shake up the Tube. It goes on oily and stays that way. I'm still getting way too much color on my face which makes me wonder if it's actually working. I used to like the dry touch sunscreen - but not this. A lot of $$$ down the drain.

Scentless but leaves a bad white cast and does not absorb well. It sat on top of my skin for hours and transferred onto clothes and the seat in my car.

Lightweight. Perfect everyday wear sunscreen. My go-to when I don't eat to feel like I have sunscreen caked on.
Reliable protection. Can stain clothes and car interiors, and may pill on skin.

Unfortunately I would not recommend this product, especially for those of darker complexions, because it leaves a visible white cast that does not blend (even after thoroughly rubbing it in).

I have used this product for years and was akways very happy with it. I have purchased it 3 times this year and each time, after using for several weeks, the product has split into oil and white liquid and is unusable. I am not sure what has changed in the formulation but I will not be buying this product again

It is value the money. Very light and tone up. It protects my skin from the sun pretty well. Absorbing is also a good point. Will buy again to keep my skin glow and protective.

Scent is minimal, it does apply white and non greasy but with rubbing into the skin it absorbs and finishes clear with no greasy feel or look. It does leave a small glow and shine, honestly looks natural! It’s light weight and I don’t really like sunscreen on my face because oh my gosh I will sweat like never before but this doesn’t make me sweat so much compared to other thicker … “popular” sunscreens. Neutrogena has been my go to for the last 15 years and has never steered me wrong!
