Directions

Apply generously and evenly 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply: After 80 minutes of swimming or sweating. Immediately after towel drying. At least every 2 hours. Sun Protection Measures: Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. To decrease the risk, regularly use a sunscreen with a Broad Spectrum SPF value of 15 or higher and other sun protection measures including: Limit in the sun, especially from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Wear long-sleeved shirts, pants, hats, and sunglasses.

Q: Can someone post an accurate list of ingredients? There is an inconsistency in the product pictures and the listed drug facts. The product says "oxybenzone free" on the label, but under the ingredients, oxybenzone is listed. Thanks!

Neutrogena Clear Face Break-Out free is exactly as described, gentle enough for your face, and doesn't break my sensitive skin out. Other brands can be too oily or too ingredient dense that I get breakouts, but not with this product. It comes out white and creamy, but once you rub it in there's no white streaks left. It leaves your skin with an almost dewy appearance. I haven't noticed any white-cast post application, but I always wear a base product of some kind. I haven't noticed any polling under makeup, or poor reactions. This is a go-to for me on the daily.

    Held up in Historic Heat!

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The historic heat, humidity, and sun this year quite literally beat my skin, as well as the usual products I'd go to. I usually stick to my mineral sunscreen due to sensitivity, but with the heat, something had to change. Neutrogena entered the chat! Not only does this absorb, it doesn't smear, it only takes a small amount, and I can't tell there's anything on my face. From applying products on top of this to completely forgetting I already applied. My face felt healthy and able to breathe in humidity. This is my forever face sunscreen! I highly recommend! If you're unsure try a travel size first, but the full size is most definitely worth it! My skin reacts to any and everything-but not this time!

    Protect yourself from sunburn

I did not notice a sticky feeling. The smell was not overpowering and smelled like a normal sunscreen would. This lasted around 2 hours, just as the directions stated it would!

    Great for Acne Prone Skin

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this sunscreen. I used the elf one before this one and I like it but the neutrogena has a lighter feel. I am also prone to acne so that’s another major reason I wanted to try this product! It is definitely buildable and can be worn under makeup. It has not made me break out and I have been using it for a few weeks now. I also like the texture of the product because it’s not too watery but not super thick either.

The Clear Face Break-Out Free has been in my bag all of vacation and I’ve had not issue with break-out or my face getting sunburnt. Easy to apply like a face lotion. Goes on white and you can see when you have it all rubbed in. I apply in the morning before I go out to the beach or pool and several times throughout the day to be safe. Now when I’m not on vacation. I apply it every morning after my moisturizer. Face sunscreen should be worn daily all year. Not just when you are in the sun.

    Won't cause breakouts
