Our Ultra-Sheer Moisturizing Face Serum 60+ Sunscreen and Invisible Daily Defense Face Serum 60+ Sunscreen are both fragrance free, oxybenzone-free, non-comedogenic, water-resistant for up to 80 minutes, and provide UVA/UVB protection. Aside from some dyes to make the Invisible Daily Defense Serum pinkish, it also has zingiber officinale (ginger) root extract and chrysanthemum parthenium (feverfew) flower/leaf/stem juice. Those two ingredients are to help soothe the skin and protect it from environmental aggressors besides the sun- pollution, smoke damage, etc. We hope this helps explain the differences!

I love this sunscreen because it has a dewy finish and maybe I just like that because I have dry skin lol. Feels pretty lightweight, not sure if I’d recommend this to someone with oily skin. Great formula and by far my favorite neutrogena sunscreen.

I have zero eye/skin sensitivity or acne issues normally. My family purchased this product for a vacation to Aruba hoping it would be clear & non-greasy in the humidity. We applied the product always greater than 15-30 minutes out from swimming to let it have plenty of time to sink in. After the first time swimming in the ocean I had THE WORST eye burning sensation that lasted hours long making my eyes swollen & teary & my sinuses run. I wear contacts so I attributed it to salty ocean water in my eyes even though I wore snorkeling goggles almost the entire time out. The next time I applied the sunscreen was before outdoor pool swimming and the same thing happened again. My husband had originally been using another facial sunscreen at the start of the trip but ran out & switched to this product & shared a very similar experience. We were both very shocked & displeased with the intense eye burning this product consistently gave us. Additionally, I never break out whatsoever & I now have tiny white pimples all over my forehead from this product as if it got stuck in my pores. I do not like to waste or throw things away but the remainder of this product will be going in the garbage! I would avoid! The only positives were that it did indeed block the sun & it did not leave the white cast.

I’m a black woman and this product left no white cast on my face! It was really invisible. There’s a little bit of a glow after it’s all patted in the skin but it looks so healthy. It doesn’t pill with my moisturizer either! I’m so happy that i’ve finally found spf that works for me.

I've been on the hunt for effective sun protection products for a while, and my luck hasn't been great. Nevertheless, I've found a winner with this one. Unlike many others, it didn't leave my skin feeling greasy, and it served as an excellent base under my makeup. The only minor downside was the sunblock scent, which I can easily overlook given all the benefits. It didn't cause any breakouts like many alternatives, and it quickly absorbed into my skin. I'll certainly be keeping this product in mind for my future needs.

I simply cannot believe the level of eye burning that is happening here. Last week, it happened because I was outside and sweating, so I thought excessive lotion was melting into my eyes. It burned/stung for 3 hours. Today, I'm literally working from home. No sweating but the product has been stinging and burning persistently for the past hour and the only hope I have to get through is is by letter my eyes well up and tear. I cannot beleive the pain coming from this product. Please consider issuing a recall.

It’s 2023, there are plenty enough worldwide studies that show the negative health effects of artificial dyes, especially red 40 which this contains. We don’t care how pretty it looks squirting out of the bottle— we care about efficiency and results. Prevent cancer only to apply cancer on your face? The dyes can be left without.

I wish I wouldn’t have bought this product. I should’ve known, based on my experience with other Neutrogena sunscreen. It tastes really strong if it gets in your mouth, and it burns your eyes if it gets in them. I don’t see anything special other than it spreads really easy. Maybe it would be good If you are going to be in the sun a long time since it is spf 60, but I think I’ll take my spf 30 and just reapply- this is too strong for me.
