Nicorette 4 mg Nicotine Gum stop smoking aids help you control your nicotine intake while enjoying the pleasant relief of chewing to help make quitting easier. This coated nicotine gum is specially formulated to slowly deliver nicotine and features patented dual-coated technology that locks in flavor, providing a bold taste experience as it calms the cravings, anxiety, frustration, irritability and restlessness associated with smoking cessation. Portable and easy to take, this 4 mg nicotine chewing gum is the right choice as your nicotine replacement therapy if you smoke your first cigarette within 30 minutes of waking up. To improve your chances of success, chew at least nine pieces per day for the first six weeks of a 12-week quit smoking program with behavioral support. For intense and frequent cravings, take an extra piece within the hour, but don't chew more than 24 pieces of this fruit gum per day. Chew 1 piece every 1-2 hours. To Increase Your Success in Quitting: 1. You must be motivated to quit. 2. Use Enough - Chew at least 9 pieces of Nicorette gum per day during the first six weeks. 3. Use Long Enough - Use Nicorette gum for the full 12 weeks. 4. Use with a support program as directed in the enclosed User's Guide. To remove the gum, tear off single unit. Peel off backing, starting at corner with loose edge. Push gum through foil. If you are under 18 years of age, ask a doctor before use. Before using this product, read the enclosed User's Guide for complete directions and other important information. Begin using the gum on your quit day. If you smoke your first cigarette more than 30 minutes after waking up, use 2 mg nicotine gum. If you smoke your first cigarette within 30 minutes of waking up, use 4 mg nicotine gum according to the following 12 week schedule: Weeks 1 to 6: 1 piece every 1 to 2 hours. Weeks 7 to 9: 1 piece every 2 to 4 hours. Weeks 10 to 12: 1 piece every 4 to 8 hours. Nicotine gum is a medicine and must be used a certain way to get the best results. Chew the gum slowly until it tingles. Then park it between your cheek and gum. When the tingle is gone, begin chewing again, until the tingle returns. Repeat this process until most of the tingle is gone (about 30 minutes). Do not eat or drink for 15 minutes before chewing the nicotine gum, or while chewing a piece. To improve your chances of quitting, use at least 9 pieces per day for the first 6 weeks. If you experience strong or frequent cravings, you may use a second piece within the hour. However, do not continuously use one piece after another since this may cause you hiccups, heartburn, nausea or other side effects. Do not use more than 24 pieces a day. It is important to complete treatment. If you feel you need to use the gum for a longer period to keep from smoking, talk to your health care provider.Other information

Works but not for me
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The taste was not what I expected, it wasn’t sweet enough for being fruit flavored. Within 5 minutes I felt the effects. Although that was it for me, for some reason it started getting a little spicy and it started to feel like I was bubbling a little much in my mouth, almost like foaming. My throat started to feel a little tight to I spit out the gum and I was back to normal after 10 minutes. I don’t know if it was an allergic reaction but I did not like the feeling. It says to chew for 30 mins the first time but I couldn’t make it to 5. Maybe it might’ve been better for someone else but for me it’s a pass. The nicotine was there and it satisfied my fix. There should be enough in the package to last you a long time. Bright and colorful packaging.

Finally quit smoking
Nicorette helped me quit smoking. This product is amazing. I can go through life not worrying about picking up cigarettes because I carry a pack of Nicorette gum just in case I get the urge to smoke. I will continue to buy this product regularly until I no longer need them.

Surprisingly good flavor
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very good product that is helping with cigarette addiction. My husband says i actually tastes so much better than he expected! It has a hard shell (think Chiclets) and when you bite into it, it delivers a minty fresh sweetness with a burst of fruit flavor. That flavor, unfortunately, only lasts a minute, before it becomes a tingly, slight minty "sensation." Instructions say to chew the gun slowly until tingles, then park it between your cheek and gum. When the tingle is gone, start chewing again until it tingles. Repeat until most of the tingle is gone (about 30 min). He's just not used to the tingle or keeping something in his cheek without chewing on it. Overall, this is a good product that hopefully will help cease cigarette usage!
