Then park it between your cheek and gum. When the tingle is gone, begin chewing again, until the tingle returns, repeat this process until most of the tingle is gone (about 30 minutes), do not eat or drink for 15 minutes before chewing the nicotine gum, or while chewing a piece, to improve your chances of quitting, use at least 9 pieces per day for the first 6 weeks, if you experience strong or frequent cravings, you may use a second piece within the hour. However, do not continuously use one piece after another since this may cause you hiccups, heartburn, nausea or other side effects, do not use more than 24 pieces a day, it is important to complete treatment. If you feel you need to use the gum for a longer period to keep from smoking, talk to your health care provider.Other information

It isn't the tastiest thing ever, especially the spit you swallow when disolve the top layer. However, I was smoking like 4-7 blakc and milds a day and now its like one or two max. I just chew a piece when the craving hits and most of the times it goes away and I avoid it to the next necessity. I will say though that I definitely felt a heavy withdrawal phase.
Excellent product if you give it a chance.

You need to develop a gum that does not stick to dentures. This is an excellent product but I have a terrible time with it sticking to my dentures. You could incorporate the same additive that is in Freedent that causes their gum not to stick to dentures.

I tested the gum specifically on a high stress day that I'd normally be reaching for the smokes a lot. Tasted as good as any other gum, lasted quite a while, made my tongue a tiny bit tingly. What I was pleasantly surprised by was it doesn't make me jittery. I've tried supplementing nicotine with patches and other methods, they always make me super jittery, keep me awake at night, etc. I would absolutely purchase this and recommend.

This has been a total lifesaver for me. I am not a heavy smoker but definitely do smoke about 1-3 a day. with this gum I am smokefree now for 2 weeks, no cravings and when I have them...I just eat a lil piece of the gum. This is amazing, I am definitely buying it!

WOW! I was very skeptical trying this product again. I tried Nicorette years ago in an attempt to quit smoking but I couldnt get past 2 pieces due to a strong dislike for the taste and aftertaste. I decided to try this product again with an open mind and I am so glad I did! The taste is pleasant and I have not experienced any aftertaste. I went from smoking a half pack a day to MAYBE 5! I actually went out and bought another box to completely kick my habit! I am NO LONGER a skeptic but a complete believer and walking testimonial. Thank you Nicorette for making me a healthier ME!

I tried nicorette white ice mint and really enjoyed using it! i was wondering how it would taste because i was a little leary of an after taste and the taste was great! it worked to help my cravings for a cigarette, especially after my morning coffee. I'm glad I start using it because now I only smoke a few cigarettes a day. I'm hoping to continue with it and quit completely.

Definitely worth giving a try. I've been smoking for about two decades and when I'm unable to smoke the gum is a lifesaver. Chewing a piece in anticipation of a smoke break has helped to eliminate the need for that smoke break altogether. Flavor is not long-lasting, but that's not really the point of using the gum. Once you've made the decision to quit this is a great option!

It really works. You still have to exercise restraint and discipline to not pick up that cigarette howecwr. I believe the reason Nicorette work so well is one it has nicotine into you get to chew gum. I remember a long time ago I read that one of the ways to help stop smoking us to a piece of gum.

I have tried Nicorette in the past, and it was horrible I could not continue back then due to the taste. I just received the new Nicorette White Ice Mint 2 mg and I am extremely impressed with the flavor. I wish I would of tried the 4 mg due to having a major craving. I have not completely quit smoking but I have gone from 20 cigarettes a day to 4. Working hard to kick the habit to the curve.....
