Too dark to read, barely any glow in the dark
While the writing is nice they chose to print this with black text on a very dark background making it impossible to read in low light (like one might choose for a bedtime story time). Additionally it advertises glow in the dark effects but only the very last page has it.

My daughter loves this bedtime book!
We read this book every night! She loves to make the animal noises as we say goodnight to the farm. On the last page, the sky glows in the dark which is pretty cool. I just wish the text was in white or a lighter color rather than black. Makes it kinda hard to see especially at nighttime in a dimly lit room.

Super cute for bedtime!
My son loves this book! He had a speech delay and this is one of our favorite bedtime books. He loves that he can turn the pages and he “helps” me read. The glow in the dark part isn’t great, takes forever to “charge” the glow and it doesn’t get very bright, but other than that this book is super cute. Also love how they subtly suggest “sleeping the whole night through”. My wife and I loved that part.

Impossible to read without full light.
It feels very obvious to me that using black typeface on dark blue background for a bedtime book is probably not the best. I have great vision (literally just got my eyes checked last week) but I cannot read the text in my sons somewhat dimly lit bedroom at night. I just make up word. My son loves the book which is the ONLY reason I’m contemplating keeping it, otherwise it would be an instant return.
