Very useful during the power outages in 2024
Here in Houston there was a wind storm and hurricane during the spring and summer of 2024, and this lantern came in very handy. Nice and bright when the power is out, can be hung up to illuminate a room or for reading. It can use regular batteries for backup if there is no power available to recharge it. So far in 2025, there haven't been any power outages. I also hope to use it outside in my backyard or for camping or hiking. Very lightweight, small, and portable in spite of powerful lighting.

I love the bright LED setting for working in the yard or garage at night, and the amber setting is wonderful for hikes and camping. It clips on to pretty much anything, and has survived multiple trips without a scratch. Highly recommended, it’s a great value!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Nite Ize Radiant RL3 Power Switch Rechargeable Lantern as a gift, and honestly, I love it. It’s small but surprisingly bright, and it’s super handy for camping, hanging out in the backyard, or even just having around in case the power goes out. What I really like is how easy it is to switch between brightness levels — you can have it nice and dim for a cozy vibe or crank it up when you really need to see what you’re doing. The fact that it’s rechargeable is awesome too. I just plug it in with a USB and it’s good to go for hours.It feels really sturdy, not cheap at all, and the handle makes it easy to carry or hang up in a tent. The switch is simple to use, which is great when it’s dark or you’re wearing gloves.All in all, I’d totally recommend this lantern to anyone who camps, travels, or just wants a good backup light. It’s practical, portable, and just works well. Super happy with it!

Well built, bright lantern with multiple settings

The light can get really bright so I am happy it has a warm mode for nice ambiance. The battery lasted the entire trip and still has more left. I really like the design and the fact that it comes with a diffuser.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What an amazing little tool!! I expected a typical little light source, but this lantern is SO much more. Several different brightness modes with long-lasting LED power which can be extended using additional batteries if you wish. Charging is obviously simple (takes several hours) but it SUPER cool that you can also charge your separate devices using the internal battery via the included USB-C cable! Then I learn the white carrying bag doubles as a light-diffusing bag to use while the lantern is on which is icing on the cake. SUPER happy with this device, so I'll be on the look out for other products from this company! Highly recommend.

Right after I recieved the Night Ize lantern, we had to file a homeowners claim on our bathroom and that included having no light in it. I think I've heard "where's the lantern?" hundreds of times since then. My family loves it. Its so handy that its rechargeable. It is easy to carry around and has so many uses and you can even charge devices with it! We cannot wait to take it to the beach or camping! Seriously, I love this lantern. It's a true lifesaver!

Really good battery
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little light is super convenient. At its lowest setting it will light up most of the room, at the highest it’s so bright! The amber lighting is really nice for those middle of the night moments when you need soft lighting for your eyes or for a nice ambient setting. It charges really quickly and holds its battery for a long time, I’ve used it for a couple hours and it still hasn’t died. You can put batteries inside as a backup power source which is convenient for when you are outdoors. Overall a great product and I’m excited to take it camping this summer!

Small but mighty
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great little lantern, it's bright and versatile with multiple different light modes. It's built tough and is waterproof/impact resistant. It has a carabiner so you can hang it, and it comes with a soft storage bag which also serves as a light diffuser. Operates on a rechargeable lithium battery and when it runs low it automatically switches to AA batteries. Recharges in about 6 hours and includes a USB‑C port so you can charge your phone in a pinch, useful during storms. With hurricane season upon us in deep south Texas, this should really come in handy during power outages. Recommended!

This light can also be used as a charging bank for devices. There are 3 brightness settings for the main light. Then an amber light for a soft glow that you can even set to flicker like a candle flame for relaxation. It comes with a handy cinch bag and cable cord for charging. A bonus is that you can clip the light or hang it wherever you need. This light is everything you'll ever need!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nite Ize Radiant RL3 PowerSwitch Rechargeable Lantern a small but powerful. The high setting is very bright and projects a good distance. It is really easy to change the settings between the different light options. The only one I thought was difficult to figure out was Amber Flicker. All the rest are easy and I like that this included a rechargeable battery. Comes with a little pouch with a USB-C cable so you can recharge it and reserve batteries extend run time on the lantern. The top includes a little clip so you can put the lantern on a string or whatever. I think this would be great for you in your tent or sitting outside, or walking to a location in the dark

First: it has a reserve back up power bank for when the primary charge has run out. Plus, if you bring batteries, it can probably go forever. Plus it has multiple light settings and even an ambient fire mode. Such a great product!
