A: The NIVEA Soft Moisturizing Cream is good for 30 months from the date of manufacture. The date of manufacture can be determined from the batch number which is a code printed below the UPC on the bottom of the jar. The lot code will either be a series of 8 numbers or 8 numbers followed by 2 letters. In all cases, the first number of the code is the last digit of the year the product was produced, and the next two numbers are the week of the year. For example, Lot Code 02350957 indicates the product was produced in 2020 in the 23rd week of the year. The zero stands for production in 2020. The second and third numbers are the week of production, in this example week 23 (June). We recommend that you replace any unused product after the expiration date has passed or if the product does not look or smell right.
