Nordic Ware Basalt™ 3 Piece Frying Pan Set

Construction: The Nordic Ware Basalt 3 Piece Skillet Set includes 8, 10, and 12 inch formed aluminum skillets designed for efficient, even heating across the cooking surface. The aluminum construction supports consistent browning, searing, sauteing, and frying for a wide range of recipes. Oven safe for convenient stovetop to oven cooking, the skillets feature basalt colored exteriors and speckled interiors that bring the distinctive look of the Basalt Cookware line to everyday kitchen tasks.
Nonstick Performance: Each skillet features a Swiss made 3 layer ceramic nonstick interior coating that promotes easy food release and supports low oil cooking. The smooth cooking surface is ideal for frying eggs and pancakes, sauteing vegetables, and searing meats. Easy food release also helps simplify cleanup, making these skillets convenient for everyday meals.
Size and Versatility: Three graduated skillet sizes make it easy to choose the right pan for different cooking needs. The 8 inch skillet is well suited for individual portions, eggs, quick sauces, and side dishes. The 10 inch skillet is ideal for everyday breakfasts, lunches, and dinners, while the 12 inch skillet provides ample cooking space for larger portions and family meals. The low profile design and gently sloped sides make it easy to turn ingredients, stir sauces, and serve directly from the skillet.
Handle and Stovetop Compatibility: Each skillet features a riveted stainless steel handle designed for a comfortable, secure grip and controlled handling. The handles provide control when stirring, flipping, and moving food around the stovetop. The skillets are compatible with gas, electric, and ceramic stovetops, providing flexible cooking options across a variety of kitchen setups.
Oven and Care: All three Basalt skillets are oven safe up to 425 degrees Fahrenheit, allowing you to finish dishes in the oven after stovetop cooking. The stainless steel handle may discolor at temperatures above the oven safe limit, so use caution when transferring from stovetop to oven. For best results, use low to medium heat and silicone, nylon, or wooden utensils to help protect the ceramic nonstick surfaces. Hand wash each skillet with warm, soapy water and avoid abrasive cleaners or utensils that could damage the coating.
