Noritake Colorwave Apple 16-Piece Square Dinnerware Set, Service for 4

I have had Noritake products for several decades. The dished are lasting and beautiful. I have had this product for about five years. I frequently get compliments on it. In addition, I recently purchased an additional cup and an additional small bowl. Noritake is my favorite source for dinnerware and other dishes.

I purchased four sets each of two plate sizes and two bowl sizes. The dinnerware itself is excellent - high quality, beautifully shaped, and perfectly sized. They stack efficiently, fit easily into the dishwasher, and look fantastic on the table. However, prepping them for use was incredibly frustrating. Every single piece came with a product sticker baked onto the back that was nearly impossible to remove. I spent most of my day trying to clean them off. I tried Goo Gone, rubbing alcohol, hot water soaks, plastic scrapers, and various DIY oil-and-abrasive pastes I found online. Even after hours of scrubbing with dish-safe sponges, some pieces still have brown stains from the stubborn glue residue. It is a shame that such an awful unboxing experience ruins an otherwise really nice product. The manufacturer seriously needs to switch to easy-peel stickers.

We got a set of these as a wedding gift 20 years ago. Except for a very careless hard knock on one bowl that resulted in a small chip, the set held up amazingly. They are hardy, a beautiful simple clean style, and the color remains as complete as the day we got them. I'd definitely without hesitation recommend Noritaki Colorware to anyone.

We are remodeling our home & wanted to update the dishes. These looked good on the website & better upon receipt. Now looking forward to using them once the project is complete. Also bought the sugar bowl, creamer & vegetable dish. They are great looking also.

I registered for these place settings and bakeware in 2011 when I got married, and they are still going strong! We've added 2 kids to the mix so there have been 1 or 2 plates broken from being dropped, but I still have 95% of the pieces I originally received. I'm sure they'll last another 15 years!

We absolutely love our Noritake dishware. It's beautiful and durable. We picked Raspberry and love the color pop in our kitchen!!

Color is very nice for what we wanted. Very nice! Plate rims are not even when stacked. After taking all lables off two sets, we found out the plates are too tall (about 11" or 80cm) for our dishwasher by 1/2".

Colorwave are very nice dishes. I have had 3 other different color sets over the years. However, this is the first set of square plates I have owned. They are slightly heavier than the round plates. The pictures on the website also show the square plates as much flatter than what they actually are. The square plate edges tilt up higher than the round, which I’m not sure I like. Not ALL meals sit in the center of the plate. Food has to sit on the angle/tilt of the plate. Example; if you are serving a meal of steak, baked potato, and a vegetable, or any other meal with more than one food choice. As always though, nice quality of dinnerware.

Absolutely love this set, they look great and seem solidly built. The Meals just look better on them too!

Having already bought a beautiful, more formal, Noritake collection I wanted something more casual for daily use. The 16-piece Curve stoneware in blue is just what I had in mind. Beautiful and very durable. I highly recommend you give them a look.

We purchased Noritake dinnerware 20 years ago and just experienced the first chip on a plate. The new set will carry us for the next 20 years!

Love how this set looks on the table. Perfect for casual elegance. It is easy to clean, just pop in the dishwasher, how convenient!

When I first got married 26 years ago I was gifted the color wave settings in blue. These dishes are sturdy and beautiful and has lasted through 2 boys. For my anniversary I have updated my place settings with the graphite color. I look forward to using these beautiful dishes another 25 years with grand children!

I've been adding to this set for a couple of years. I have Noritake China, so I bought the Colorwave Set in Graphite. I use this set every day and it is a sturdy solid set. I add to it whenever I find a new piece. I recently saw the tablecloth, napkins, and placemat and bought them. I even have the spoons, forks, and knives. I took a picture when I received the tablecloth and could not wait to set the table to share with my friends.

We originally got a set in 2015 from our wedding registry. 5 years later we bought some additional plates and bowls to add to our original set. 10 years after getting the originals and we haven't lost or broken a single dish! they are our daily use dishes, going in the dishwasher and microwave regularly. The color has stood up well too! Highly recommend, well worth the investment.

We have been using the Colorwave for 5 years now and could not be more pleased. No chipping or crazing even with heavy daily use and dishwasher runs. The cup handles stay unaffected direct from the microwave and cups hold up to several zaps daily. If you buy these, you won't be disappointed!

The beautiful white color makes for a very versatile set which can work for both casual and formal table settings.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent quality. I love the color. Passed the microwave and dishwasher test. Made hot soup and it still stood firm. Packaging was on point because absolutely nothing broke. Perfect addition for all year round. Bowls actually great for cereal too lol.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very pretty set. Vey nice pattern. They are well made.
