It has such an up to date look, and the pieces are nice and heavy. The bowl is large, and the cup is big enough for a large cup of coffee. They are microwave, oven, and dishwasher safe too! They go well with any other plate set so you can certainly mix them. The bowls are a little more shallow which works well for portion control. I took off one star because of the ridiculous barcode stickers. Why is there such strong glue on them? I had to soak them in Goo Gone and scrub them furiously to get all the sticky off. Honestly. that would almost be a deal breaker

I've been using my set of Colorwave Graphite dishes for over 15 years. They still look fantastic. No fading/streaking/cracking or any other changes to the matte graphite or white. I've replaced a couple of pieces that were broken over the years (human error, no fault of the product) and they always match back beautifully, even with the oldest, most used pieces. This is probably one of the only things in my house I haven't tired of and I hope they continue to have pieces available for the future when I need a replacement.

I have several Noritake plates, bowls, coffee cups, etc. I have never had a problem with scratches. They are top quality items.

These dinner plates arrived quickly and were safely packaged.

While I love my cool wave graphite dinnerware, I ended up returning these flower lunch plates. The gray background color is too dark and unpleasant. I wish they were the cream background instead, like the appetizer plates.

I love the look of these dishes but the graphite color fades and the dishes chip when put in the dishwasher.

I already owned a set of dinnerware in this style & love it. I wanted to add smaller bowls than ones that came with the set, so I bought these rice bowls- they are perfect. I love the simplicity of Colorwave- color can be added with placemats and/or napkins. The colorwave pcs. are very versatile & have held up quite well. I put them in the dishwasher & microwave & no issue with either. So, I highly recommend these bowls.

Soon we added Graphite Rim and Square pieces for variety. Then interesting accent and serving pieces . So many choices! Next, we thought 'just a few' pops of color might be good. Fast forward to present... we now have a cupboard that looks like a rainbow! It's fun creating color combinations for changing seasons and holidays. Or our mood of the day. Coordinating Colorwave glassware has been a nice addition too. And we keep adding pieces! (Turquoise is my latest favorite.) With daily use, our pieces have held up remarkably well over time. When we've occasionally broken something, Noritake's replacement program has been terrific. Couldn't be happier. Colorwave is a wonderful collection to build upon as you go!
