One good, one bad!
I bought two and one looked like the side had come from a used or rejected nightstand. It was gouged, unstained on the bottom, and the feet looked like they had a very rough life. The drawer slides were on backwards and one of the holes for a bolt was not in the right place. Luckily my husband fixed those two problems. I considered returning it but I've been waiting several months for this nightstand and am afraid if I do return it I might not get another. I really like the look but I'm not sure if I would buy again.

Color is wrong
The color of the nightstand in the photos is way off. It's not a light colored wood with a gray wash. The wood is medium brown and the grey distressing makes it look more like a coastal piece. I didn't assemble it, but the quality of the wood seemed pretty good. Too bad the photo isn't an accurate depiction of the actual piece.

Color stain much different than shown.
The color shown on the website is MUCH lighter than the actual nightstand I received. The one that I was shipped was almost black! I understand that images online are not a perfect representation of the actual color, but this was a huge discrepancy. I returned it before even attempting assembly.
