Our Sugar-free, Fruitwood smoked bacon is crafted using lean pork bellies that are carefully selected from our Canadian family farms and hand-trimmed by our butchers to exacting specifications. The slabs are double smoked to enhance the natural sweetness of the meat, that’s more boldly flavorful than you’d expect. We smoke our meats lazily, at low temperatures resulting in a tender, flavorful finish. This bacon is okay. It isn't really good but it isn't really bad. Its just average. My husband liked it, I didn't. I prefer a more lean style bacon. This bacon had a lot of fat.

This was a hit with ny family. We planned a big family breakfast and the bacon was the first thing to go. They were crispy and with good flavor. The other thing is that we have been trying to be more aware of what we eat, avoiding as many unnatural ingredients as possible and decreasing sugar so this as a perfect option.

I made this for my husband with a large breakfast and he couldn’t stop talking about how amazing it was. He said the flavor was phenomenal and he kept getting more. It’s going to be a new staple in our household. It was Smokey in the most perfect way and didn’t feel greasy like a lot of the other brands. The fact that it’s sugar free and humanely made is just an even bigger plus.

First time trying North Country's smokehouse bacon and was very pleased with the taste. I normally go for an applewood flavor but this fruitwood flavored bacon is amazing! I cooked the bacon on my George Foreman grill and used the grease drippings to fry up some home fries, it was delicious! I enjoy my bacon to be slightly crispy so any leftovers I crumble up for salad toppings. Overall, the fruitwood bacon was delicious, savory, and just satisfyingly flavorful. I very much enjoyed the rich, smokiness of the North Country brand. I'd absolutely recommend this bacon as a top choice gourmet bacon.

The North Country Smokehouse USDA Sugar Free Uncured Certified Humane Bacon is a great addition to any meal. The quantity is amble and is great for the family. The bacon quality is great. The taste is awesome too. The inclusion of this bacon in a dish is great whether it is cooked to be crispy or soft. Lastly, the smell of the bacon is amazing as well. The result is an amazing combination of scent and taste that you can feel good about it too.

This bacon is excellent! It crisps up nicely, isn't super fatty and has a great smoky flavor to it. This is absolutely bacon I will switch to in thr future. My entire family liked it and it worked really well in the egg bake I made for dinner.

This bacon was absolutely delicious. My kids are very lucky about their bacon, and hate most brands like Oscar Meyer/Hormel/store brands. The bacon itself cooke pretty evenly and crispy. What else can I say, kid tested and mother approved. Get yourself some of this bacon.

Nutrition aside... these bacons are delicious! I love the smoky flavor. I use two strips of bacon for my tortilla pocket sandwiches with scrambled eggs and spinach plus some ketchup and sriracha. It's a great breakfast recipe. I like that these have no added sugar or preservatives. No antibiotics or hormones used and certified humane!

The aroma was genuine and delicious. Individual slices were meaty. While they weren't particularly thick, they also weren't paper thin. I cooked in both the pan and oven and the pan came out crispier. I did notice these were relatively salty.

This is the top shelf of bacon. I was very excited to get a pack of this bacon. I love bacon with pretty much with everything. This cooked up beautifully and evenly. There was nice ration of fat that keeper everything looking good. The flavor was out of this world. I would buy this over and over again
