Tea Tree Oil by Now Foods - 1 oz EssOil

Novices may believe that every tea tree oil is the same. It is not. I've been purchasing tea tree oil exclusively from Now for over 10 years and will continue to do so as long as they sell it.

So I got this one because they claim to lab test for purity etc but this bottle doesn't smell the same as other tea tree oils I have used. It smells really off and also kind of weak too. Is this really 100% pure tea tree oil and was it extra ted properly?

This oil maybe small but it’s packs a punch, I mix with castor and peppermint oil and it works wonders for my hair.

This smells horrible. Not the regular, strongly astringent smell tea tree oil always has--which I know some don't care for, but ordinarily I like its aroma. This one stinks so bad I'm afraid to use it. I still had a smidge left in a previous bottle (different brand), so I compared in case my nose was just off. Nope, this oil reeks. Maybe I got a bad batch, maybe it's just bad quality? I don't know, but I'm tossing it and buying from ANY OTHER BRAND.

It's a great essential oil. It help my itchy scalp. I put it on insect bites. Heal quicker. I been using tea tree oil for 20 years.

NOW Brand Tea Tree Oil is so pure and pungent it is very effective in cleansing. I love the clean, clear aroma. A couple of drops added scrubbing the bathroom leaves it feeling clean and fresh, . Wonderful to add a few drops in shampoo for sparkling clean hair. Adding several drops in warm water in a foot bath leaves your feet squeaky clean and so relaxed.

I clean houses and have started mixing my own disinfectant cleaner with teatree oil. It works great.

Its great for an antibacterial, antifungal, and you can also use it for cleaning so it it multipurpose and my family always uses it and I highly recommend it.

I love Now Foods essential oils. I got this regular (non-organic) Tea Tree oil for putting a few drops in every wash load of laundry (it really helps keep that bad bacterial smell down in the high efficiency washing machine), and also a bottle of their organic Tea Tree for general usage.

The scent is neither pleasant nor unpleasant, but it’s potent. It smells like paint thinner with notes of pine. I have found it to be pretty useful in a few ways. When mixed with lemon oil in a diffuser, it works effectively as a room deodorizer (eucalyptus oil can also be added). I use this mix to neutralize the nasty organ-meat odors that now and again waft up from my downstairs neighbor’s apartment. I also add a few drops of this tea tree oil to the sponges I use to wipe down the tiles and bathtub after showering (those areas the squeegee can’t reach). The sponges no longer develop a funky odor, so I replace them less frequently than I did before. As an added bonus, since I started using tea tree oil in the bathroom, I no longer see centipedes crawling around there at night. They won’t be missed!

It is good in the diffuser, put a drop or two on a cotton ball and whiff, or add a carrier oil for a wonderful massage. A friend uses it in a hot bath soak. Thanks to Australia for the Melaleuca plant from which we get this helpful product.
