Q: What are the recommended sterilizing instructions for these bottles?

submitted by AMS - 10 months ago
  • A: CAREFULLY BOIL...my first time boiling these they melted, thankfully target took them back, I probably boiled for too long/had water too hot..but just be careful with this, I boiled other bottles at the same time but only these melted, well started melting and sticking to each other as I pulled them out

  • A: Thank you for reaching out to NUK Consumer Care! For sterilization, we recommend boiling the bottles in water of 212 degrees Fahrenheit up to 5 minutes. As always, we recommend boiling before first use, and care instructions can also be found on the back of the packaging. Q: Can these bottles use the nipples of the other bottles as well? Like as they grow and I need to change from slow flow to fast flow?

submitted by Kim - 7 months ago
  • A: Thank you for reaching out to NUK Consumer Care! Unfortunately, nipples on the bottles are specific to the bottle that it comes with. The Perfect Match Bottle offers 3 flow rates as your little one grows. Slow flow 0+ months, medium flow 1+ months, and Universal Self Regulating Flow at 6+ months. The 5 ounce bottles come with the slow flow. The 8 ounce comes with the medium flow, and the universal self regulating flow are purchased separate. We hope that this helps!

    Slow flow allows gulping

size A - 9 days ago, Verified purchaser
Too fast even the slowest flow and my baby collapsed the nipples while eating. Caused a lot of gas after. Nipple shape is good but the thin material allows collapse and the hole does not control flow and newborn was gulping and had trouble doing a laced feeding due to the design and collapse which alllowed a lot of air. Disappointment. Switched brands.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product was sent to me by Stellar Product Testing Panel. As a breastfeeding mom, I was looking for a pacifier that wouldn’t interfere with nursing—and the NUK Perfect Match Pacifier really delivered. Overall, I was very impressed with how well it soothed my baby without causing any nipple confusion or latch issues. It quickly became a go-to tool for calming my little one between feedings, especially during fussy periods or while on the go. Pairing it with breastfeeding was surprisingly smooth. The nipple is designed to mimic the shape and feel of the breast, and my baby had no trouble switching between nursing and using this pacifier. I appreciated that the transition felt seamless and didn’t negatively impact our breastfeeding journey. The super-soft nipple and the heart-shaped curved shield were definite highlights. The nipple feels very natural and gentle—my baby took to it right away—and the curved shield sits comfortably under the nose without leaving any marks on the face. It’s lightweight, breathable, and fits nicely even for a newborn. What I liked most was how thoughtfully designed this pacifier is for breastfeeding families. It gave me peace of mind knowing it was made to complement nursing rather than disrupt it. I would absolutely recommend the NUK Perfect Match Pacifier to other moms, especially those who are breastfeeding. It’s one of the few pacifiers I’ve tried that truly lives up to its promise.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My baby girl has refused to take any other pacifier. She usually spits them out right away, even when she is tired in a car seat or similar situation and could clearly use a way to soothe herself. But she had no trouble with this pacifier, and she has kept right on using it, and that is amazing! The shape and size seemed interesting--a bit bigger than I would expect? But that does not matter, as the main point here is that baby enjoyed and actually used this paci! There were no issues pairing this with breastfeeding, and nothing changed about our routine, except baby did not fuss as much. :) The soft nipple seems to work well for baby; she likes it. The curve of the paci's shield fit well with the contours of her face. I am very happy with this pacifier, I am most pleased that my baby has been using it and enjoying it ,and I would recommend it to any other breastfeeding mama who has been having trouble getting her baby to take a pacifier!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this pacifier through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. This pacifier came in 2 cute colors, white and a pastel green. We have struggled getting our newborn to take any pacis and this was the first one she actually took. There didn't seem to be any nipple confusion after using this pacifier, my baby breastfed just fine afterwards. I really liked how soft the nipple is and how it's easy to clean, I definitely recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel! I introduced this pacifier to my 4 month old baby and at first he loved it. The design is lightweight and has a small handle to hold it. My baby loved the design of the pacifier’s nipple and seemed happy to use it. The problems began when my baby would accidentally drop it and wanted to grab it back. The design made it hard for him to grasp it well and became frustrated when he couldn’t hold on to it. I’d recommend this pacifier for an older baby maybe 6-8 months old since they can grasp things better. I gave this 3 stars due to the issues we encountered and after the frustration my baby dealt with he did not want the pacifier again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am really thankful to Stellar for providing me with this pacifier. I am that kind of person who think either baby like it or she hates it. I am not a person who forces anything to her until baby takes it. Baby used pacifier only during her initial days in hospital and we were asked by Doctor not to use as it might cause negative impact to her jaws. So I was not sure if baby like the Nuke pacifier or not, but to my surprise she love it. She like to suck the pacifier and is not allowing to pull it out. And I don't have to worry if it will misalign her jaws as its built specifically for newborn babies. The shape of the Nuke pacifier replicate that of a breast and hence it prevents nipple confusion and soothe my baby. I am really thankful to stellar for providing an opportunity to test it and I am really happy with the product and recommend it to my new mommy friends.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pacifier is very well made, I loved the material and I really wanted my baby to like it. Unfortunately, when we received this product as part of the stellar product testing panel, my baby was already 3 months old and had developed his likes and dislikes and he did not take this pacifier as expected. Because of the shape of the nipple my baby kept dropping it and would get frustrated. Overall, I would recommend this to new parents to to use on their newborns and get them used to the concept.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I swore this time around I was going to introduce a pacifier early so that my son would take it (and give me a little break every so often)! But despite starting the pacifier immediately my 2 month old has a distinct preference for the breast for comfort and refuses most pacifiers. I often end up nursing to sleep which is prohibiting a feeding schedule. So imagine my surprise when he actually willingly took this pacifier to soothe! I love that it mimics the natural curve a breast and nipple would have, and my son seems to notice the difference. It has kept him a little calmer when getting close to bedtime/nap time, and I've been able to trick him into taking this pacifier while held in nursing position to sleep. Babies of course have their own preferences, but if you're breastfeeding I definitely recommend giving this pacifier a shot! Thanks to Stellar Product Testing Panel for allowing me to test this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with the NUK Perfect Match Pacifier to try! My overall impression is that this is a great pacifier, especially for babies who are also breastfed. The nipple is incredibly soft and flexible, which made the transition between nursing and soothing with the pacifier feel seamless—no nipple confusion at all. I especially appreciated the curved shield design. It fit comfortably against my baby’s face without leaving marks or causing any irritation. The design also allows for better airflow, which gave me peace of mind when using it for longer periods. What I liked most was how easily it calmed my baby—sometimes almost instantly. It’s been a go-to during fussy moments or when winding down before naps. I also noticed my baby was able to keep it in her mouth more easily than other pacifiers we’ve tried. Overall, I’d definitely recommend the NUK Perfect Match Pacifier to other parents, especially those who are breastfeeding and looking for a pacifier that won’t disrupt their nursing routine

Not all pacifiers are built the same

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I must admit, I was under the impression that every pacifier would look, feel, and soothe the same. Boy was I wrong. I was given this pacifier to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and I’m so grateful for the opportunity. We have a two month old at home and finding ways to soothe in between naps, car rides, and feeding sessions has been key in order to avoid a crying baby and to keeping our sanity. Our baby is both breastfed and bottle fed, so having a real nipple feel and shape was important when latching on to a pacifier. Luckily this was a perfect fit and he loves the pacifier and didn’t sacrifice his latch onto the real thing when feeding on the breast. I was a little thrown off because this pacifier is a little more audible when put to use, but I quickly got over the little noise it does make when he is suckling on it because it makes up for in excellent soothing. He loves it! We have several different brands lying around the house, but due to his instant ability to calm down with the Nuk pacifier, I find myself running around the house to always have this one handy for him. As a little bonus, the way it is shaped makes it super easy to throw in our bottle washer to clean. Key for keeping these handy at all times. My only drawback when it comes to the Nuk pacifier is that there isn’t a variety of sizes to grow with our baby. I am afraid of the day he grows out of it and wants the same one but in a bigger size. But until that day comes he will love every moment he gets out of this pacifier. It truly does offer a higher level of soothing.

I like this pacifier can be put in the sanitizer so I know it is safe for my baby.

My fourth month old baby had not been interested in pacifiers in the past two months so I was excited to give these NUK Perfect Match a try. I started giving her the pacifier during her nap and it really helped with the transition to her crib. She liked that she was also able to hold it herself so she could put it in and take it out on her own. I think the shape is great !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this pacifier to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I was really hopeful my baby would take this pacifier especially since it is supposed to replicate a nipple and be good for breastfed babies. Unfortunately like all previous pacifiers, she would not take it. That being said, the design is esthetically really nice and minimalist. It does seem to be a softer silicone or plastic. Neither of my babies have taken pacifiers, even when exposing them to multiple brands and styles. I would still recommend this pacifier as an option when introducing pacifiers to a baby who doesn’t take the first one and who is breastfed.

My daughter is 3 months old and has been exclusively breastfed, so it took her a few tries to warm up to using a pacifier. But once she tried this one, she loved it! I really think the nipple shape helped her get used to it. I also love the clear design, it makes it super easy to clean. The curved shield is great too because it doesn’t leave those annoying marks on her cheeks like some others do. Highly recommend if you’ve got a little one, especially if they’re breastfed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this pacifier through Stellar Product Testing Panel. My first impression of the pacifier is that I liked the overall simple and clean design. It was lightweight and easy to travel with or attach pacifier clips to. I have tried different sizes and shapes of pacifiers with my 1-month-old so far and was able to get a good idea on what she prefers in comparison. Based on larger shaped pacifiers, I liked that this one stayed in her month much better. I think the shape helped with that, as well as it being much more light weight than other brands we have tried. I do feel like since it has a flatter head, sometimes she is slow to suck on it at first because she doesn't feel it in her mouth as easily. Overall, I thought it was great at soothing my baby and did appreciate that it was designed to mimic the breast, as that is something important to me as we work on breastfeeding. I would recommend this pacifier to a friend that is looking for a lightweight option, especially if wanting to pair with breastfeeding.

Maybe it was introduced to her too late, just shy of 3 months, but she would quickly gag it out. The pacifier itself is very light weight and and has a good shape, especially for EBF babies. This product was gifted by Stellar Product testing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is only the second pacifier my 16-week-old baby has tried. In contrast to the first one, she actually used this pacifier for a brief period a few times instead of immediately rejecting it and never wanting to use it again. She’s bottle and breastfed, so I was concerned with nipple confusion, but so far that has not been an issue. I credit that to its shape. Unlike the other pacifier that left a white film after initial washing, this one was thoroughly cleaned in our bottle cleaner machine for baby’s first use. I believe this is because of its material and design. I’m particularly pleased that I don’t have to manually clean the inside, which is a huge plus for me. Additionally, I like the little handle that my baby is learning to hold onto with ease. Overall I really like this pacifier and my little one seems to like it too. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this pacifier.

We have been using this pacifier for about 2 weeks and he’s had a hard time latching on to it. When he can get latched on he seems to prefer it over other types of pacifiers we have tried to use with him though. I believe he may just need some time to get used to having as pacifier because we waiting to introduce one until a month old but it may also not be the right fit for him. I would recommend this pacifier as an option to try for expecting parents because it is affordable and every baby is different with what they prefer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this pacifier to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and overall, I'm very happy with it. It's clearly designed with breastfeeding in mind. The shape of the nipple is soft and flexible, it gives the natural feel of a breast, which makes it much easier for my baby to transition between pacifier and nursing without nipple confusion. I had tried a different pacifier before this one and it kept slipping out of his mouth. The Nuk is lightweight and he was able to keep it in his mouth giving him a soothing option other than my breast. I have 3 other kids and none took a pacifier or bottle being breastfed, this baby is a little different and although he doesn’t take the pacifier all the time he’s taking the Nuk sometimes and that’s a step up. If you’re looking for a pacifier that’s gentle and breastfeeding friendly, the Nuk perfect match is definitely worth a try.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just want to start off by saying there is absolutely nothing wrong with these pacifiers. I’m actually pretty bummed out that it didn’t work out for us. The pacifiers are simple in all the right ways. They’re lightweight and compact compared to other pacifiers that seem to have unnecessary bulk. The silicone nipple feels like it’s really nice quality. I love the back where it allows for a lanyard! All of the aspects of this pacifier seem to be high-quality and well designed. There’s only one issue with the product… my baby doesn’t like it. We tried to give it to her dozens of times and she simply refused to latch. I’m going to guess it’s the shape of the nipple, though I’m not completely sure. Our baby usually prefers a more round shape nipple. It’s a bummer it didn’t work out, but it is what it is! *We received this product at no charge as part of the Stellar product testing panel.
