A: Most NutriChef food dehydrators, including the 5-Tier Electric model, are designed for 110V–120V power systems, which are standard in the U.S. and Canada. The UK uses 220V–240V, so you cannot plug it in directly without damaging the unit. To safely use it in the UK, you'll need: 🔌 A Step-Down Voltage Converter Converts UK 220V to U.S. 110V Must support at least 300W to handle the dehydrator’s power draw Choose a converter with built-in surge protection ⚠️ What NOT to Use Simple plug adapters only change the plug shape — they do not convert voltage Using the dehydrator without a proper converter may burn out the motor or cause safety hazards If you're shopping for a dehydrator specifically for UK use, look for models labeled 220V-compatible or designed for European outlets.

Waste of time
This is a 3rd party vendor meaning no price matching, no discounts, has to be returned to store. Came brand new in the box directly from manufacturer and it states do not use without the 2 mech liners on the bottom trays to prevent moisture from destroying motor. The 2 mesh trays were missing same holds true with fruit leather. Called manufacture today (they were supposed to get back to me according to Target) spent 2 hours, they wanted photos of the missing items, morons, and wanted a copy of the invoice. I sent them a screenshot of what they asked for but they insisted that it was not an invoice, but no other information was sent to me from Target. this isn't a 5 tray system as the bottom 2 trays are supposed to have the liners in it with no food on it, thus you only get use of 3 of the 5 trays. Nutrichef customer service is horrible, staff have no clue what they are doing, even called me by wrong name repeatedly.
