ohsnap! SnapCar Adhesive Assisted Magsafe Car Dash Mount

Could be a better connection for the magnet. Weak connection

I've been using this car mount for a couple of years with the Snap Grip 4, I just now received the Snap Grip 5 and unfortunately the magnets do not align and the mount doe snot hold my iphone.

Strong mount (so far, it’s only been attached for about 1 week). I’m curious to see how long the adhesive will last. Thankful they packed an extra adhesive pad in the packaging.

My dash has a bit of a texture to it so the provided adhesive doesn’t bond well. I’m going to get a different adhesive that’ll hopefully bond better. Otherwise the magnet/product is solid!

I was very disappointed with this item. It doesn't work at all. An absolute waste of money.

I recently upgraded the radio in my truck, but in doing so made my vent mounted magnetic phone holder unusable. So I was looking for a solution and remembered how nice my ohsnap desk stand is. So I ordered the vehicle version and hoped it would work decently, and it did! The 3M tape that is used is super strong and holds up to the Alaskan winters with stupid cold weather!! The magnets are strong enough to hold up to driving on our terrible roads, but not so strong that you can't remove it fairly easily!Overall a great phone mount and definitely worth the purchase! And thanks to ohsnap for always making banger products!!

I have had the Car Mount for a couple of years and have used it with my previous Snap Grips with no issues. I decided to upgrade to the Snap Grip 5 and now the Car Mount no longer works with the Snap Grip 5... Go figure! I sent support an email and will see how they respond but if their products don't work with newer versions of other products I have no desire to be in the OhSnap Ecosystem at all whatsoever!Extremely Disappointed!!!

Car mount is as described. Works great. I love it!

We've had cheap vent mounted ones before but they suck and break the vents and don't stay in place. I love the magnetic function.

Works as described with the new magnetic grip. Really like it.

Sticks easily and well and can handle the weight of an iPhone pro Max

Bought the new version of the phone grip, Oh Snap 5, and it doesn't work with my wireless charger, or the multiple accessories I bought from oh snap for my previous version 4. They are completely useless now. I wish I knew none of the current lineup of accessories from Oh Snap don't work with the new version before I bought it. I may be looking to return my purchase in full and switch to their rival competition for my next device.Sad. Oh Snap went from like a 9/10 to a 3/10.

The material is nice, good quality but the adhesive is extremely weak. I tried different places and surfaces on my dashboard, never worked. The magnet on the grip 5 is also crap, it will not stick to any machines at the gym, huge disappointment.

Followed directions exact as indicated and adhesive wouldn’t even begin to stick to the dashboard in my older jeep. Had to super glue it. Then when I got the snap grip 5, it barely held it in place. Had to file a warranty claim to get a new car mount.

This will not hold the grip 5. It has a very weak magnetic hold and your phone will fall. They should warn people.

Magnets to the grip were amazing... one small issue it wouldn’t stay attached to my vehicle. I used the first adhesive with the alcohol wipe and waited a few days to be safe. Held for about 5 minutes... I turned a corner and my phone and the stand went flying. For the second time I used an cleaning wipe and even tried to scuff the surface assuming the material was to “slippery” left for a few more days... lasted a bit longer but fell when I rolled over a pot hole. Now I have no mount and a scuffed vehicle (scuff is my fault)Constructive criticism: If the rear of the mount could be threaded that would be sick so you can bolt it without having to rely on just adhesive

The mount is awesome, the Grip5 is not. Less magnetic than a refrigerator magnet. Totally useless, don’t waste your money

No problem sticking, solid product, easy to put phone on/off

I have an older jeep commander and it has so many little trays and pockets but not a single one holds a phone properly. This car mount is a total game changer and it works so perfectly. Absolutely recommend it- even my husband is getting one for his rusty old truck.

Car mount seamed fine but the actual pop socket didn't work, first even with a thin case magnet wouldn't hold. Even with the case off the magnet slid easly on a galaxy s24+. Then they advertise it will charge wireless but it wouldn't.
