However it will also depend on the thickness and/or how far back the vertical vents go to get a good grip. But if it does not work on your vertical you also have the Flat mount option. I should have bought the protection plan
I have had this over 6 months now, and the only complaint is that it slips off the air vent. This has happened multiple times even when it is secured tightly, but this time, it broke off. I should have bought the protection plan. Oh, well, lesson learned. I will be purchasing another brand going forward.

Wasn't the best on the market
It was an easy assembly, but once I put my phone in the holder it would not sit up at all it was like the phone was weighing it down, and it faced the ground the whole time. It also was a little hard to push the piece into the vent.

Very difficult to figure out to put together. After months of using it (being top heavy, moving side to side when turning) we figured it out. Cannot use my phone case while using this so have to take it off every time. Besides that it is pretty useful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked this because it gave you a couple mounts to use I liked the one you could clip on to your vent because it was a little less permanent but if that doesn’t work for you they also have one where you can stick a mount anywhere you would like. The product itself is very sturdy and griped my phone securely. I also liked how easy it was to push my phone In and trigger the mount. And on the plus side it has a magnetic cable holder!

However, I’ve had several car phone mounts, and I wouldn’t say it’s any better than the others I’ve tried. Every single mount I’ve used, including this one, has tilted down slightly due to the weight of the phone, which makes it harder to see the screen. So while I think this product is good, I wouldn’t recommend it over others.

Won’t stay in place

I’m not sure if it’s my fault or the product but I followed the directions and still can’t get it to do what it’s supposed to do. My phone won’t stay in the holder and I can’t get the holder to hook onto my vent in my vehicle. I really wanted to love this but sadly I can’t get it to work.

Maybe I am not using it correctly?
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m not in love with this. There is a part that you can stick on your dash or one for the air vents. I did not want to put something permanent on my dash so I opted for the vent part but it continues to come off every time I tried to remove my phone. Maybe I am not using it correctly. I also have a button on the back of my phone so it makes it harder to hold the phone.
