Since your device is only 2 inches wide, it is slightly too narrow for the mount's adjustable arms to "grip" it firmly. The arms will not be able to squeeze tight enough to prevent the phone from sliding out, especially during turns or over bumps.     Vent mount doesn’t clamp. Its a rubber slide on mount that makes it unstable trying to keep in place. Dash mount is a better but permanent solution.

    Sooooo good! I did not want to stick something on my dash, so the vent mount is great!! My vent isn’t strong enough, but the mount stays put on it and you can tilt your phone far enough so it’s perfect!!

    Great grip

But I ended up switching the attachment and using the one that sticks to the dashboard and that has worked great so far! I went on a road trip and had my phone on the whole time and it worked great!
