Generally, I tend to stay away from vent mounts due to their ability to slip and possibly damage the phone as it falls or simply cause a distraction while driving due to the mount and phone falling. But, I will admit that this is by far the best vent mount that I've used so far. Of course, eventually, it did start to become a problem as it began to lose it's grip and eventually started to slip and/or fall from the vent. I strongly suggest they redesign the vent clip portion of the mount so that there's no slip. It got to a point where I was having my phone fall once a week, then once a day, then it stopped gripping the vent after only a few minutes of driving.

I have a RAV4 and while it appeared in photos this would work it did not. It wouldn't stay attached to the vents and pulled out which meant the phone flopped side to side and down. I returned it.

So I’ve had this work two very different ways. I am going to give this product 5 stars based on the way it works in MY car, which is a 2022 Honda Passport. Works phenomenally well. It is very adjustable to whichever angle you want. My iPhone 15 Pro Max never, ever falls off, even with fast turns and huge bumps. I’ve had it well over a year and use it daily. It works just as good as it did on day one. I LOVE this vent mount in my car!! I will say that I gave my daughter one because I was so thrilled with mine, and it works terribly in her 2015 Honda Accord. The vent mount falls off her vent within minutes. It will absolutely not stay. Maybe it’s an issue with the compatibility with her car, but it’s the same make as mine (Honda) and the vents appear to be the same type. So maybe it’s a defective item. Not sure. Either way though, it’s an issue in her car.
